Consumer Complaint: I am encountering extreme delays using Coinbase. I was told that it would take 9 days to purchase Bitcoin from my bank account. This is quite a long time in the Bitcoin environment. All transactions that I have done that lost money from sending and receiving have gone through immediately. My last transaction, Coinbase added a 3 day delay, even though I have 2 factor authentication, which is supposed to protect my account. I see no reason for the delay except the company trying to gold the coins they are unauthorized to do. There is no response from the company. The say they need me to verify my identity... When I try to verify my identity, it always fails.

Consumer Complaint: {$180000.00} worth of USD XXXX coins stored in my XXXXoinbase Wallet was drained in XXXX counts of unauthorized transactions to random wallets through a mining pool scheme operated through XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX that was access through the Coinbase Wallet App . I raised the issue to Coinbase a month ago that they have withdrawn my funds without my consent. Coinbase falsely advertised its wallet app being the safest with high security features. This was an inherent and serious security deficiency from Coinbase Wallet App that caused the funds to get drained without any type of notice or authorization. I also got no concrete support from Coinbase over the past month and they are denying any type of support or help in getting back or reimbursing the lost funds.

Consumer Complaint: Multiple times attempted to trade crypto. Coinbase processed transaction then canceled or not completed without notification while using app. Acted like it completed trade then emailed later it did not complete trade. Multiple time the coinbase took money when trading shiba inu crypto. They have agreed there is a problem and still won't give me my money back. Scam. Failed to execute trades accordingly. Leaveing customer without control while markets move and and coinbase holds our money without recourse. Then agrees there is a problem but won't pay me back. The Coinbase system appears to operate like a claw machine in the arcade. Grabs the trade act like you have it in hand but drops the item as it executed trades, especially ones when value is droping rapidly. Coinbase can't facilitate or manage its trading system. It is a scam.

Consumer Complaint: About the XXXX of XXXX I opened an account at Coinbase using a referral link, as described in https : //www.coinbase.comXXXX On the XXXX of XXXX I bought XXXX XXXX XXXX Bitcoins, to get the promised promotion and receive {$10.00} USD, as described in menioned Referral program link. Several days after, and as I didnt get the {$10.00} USD, I contacted Coinbase Help Center to explain what had happen. They answered me that they were going to check what had happen and they would contact me. After spending several days without an answer I wrote to them on several occasions explaining what happened and that I had met all the requirements of the program and in all of them they replied that they were going to check it and that I had to wait for their response with a solution. Today they answered me for the last time saying that the case has been closed and that I have to open a new one, but I still have not received an answer to what happened, nor of course the XXXX dollars of the promotion. I ask you to help me and get Coinbase to fulfill the promotion and give me the XXXX dollars that must be paid. ( Please excuse my XXXX, but I'm XXXX )

Consumer Complaint: Coinbase allowed an unknown person to gain access to my account and disable XXXX ( multi factor authentication ) that I had previously enabled for my own protection. That person ( s ) purchased additional virtual currency with my linked credit card and bank account and immediately transferred the available funds, about {$3800.00} worth, to an untraceable address. I altered coinbase as soon as I saw the emails saying I had transferred funds. But their only method of contact is email so a rapid response is not possible, no phone or live chat is available for their customers. I changed my password and locked my account to prevent any further access. When coinbase later responded they said all charges are final no refunds will be offered. It is their laxed website security that allowed someone to change my security settings then quickly transfer out my money. They charged purchase fees on these fraudulent transaction and actually made a profit while I lost about {$3800.00}, they have no incentive to fix their account security since they still make money even when they let your account get hacked. Common sense would dictate when an accounts security is changed like email address changed, multi factor authentication method disabled or password changed that account should be prevented from sending any funds out for 24-48 hours. They did not do this. I filed a complaint with the FBI Internet Crime Complaint Center ( IC3 ) and local law enforcement.

Consumer Complaint: It seems I no longer have access to my personal account on Coinbase. The first time I tried to access my account and failed was on XX/XX/XXXX or very close to that date. My password does not work. I have not changed it. When attempting to change my password I have not received an email, after clicking on send email. After clicking on resend email I receive a message saying please try again later. I have not received any response or communication from Coinbase after repeated attempts. When attempting to file a complaint on their site I am required to include a ticket number which I have been unable to obtain as Coinbase has not sent me a reply. I have been unable to access my funds for close to a month. Which, from my point of view is unacceptable.

Consumer Complaint: For years I have had an account with Coinbase. I replaced my telephone but have the same number that I have had for several years. When I tried to access my account it started off by saying that it does not recognize me. Now when I try to access my account it says that I do not have a valid email address. Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX of this year XXXX My coinbase XXXX Account was hacked and all funds were withdrawn and sent to digital wallets outside my control. The online intruders first transferred all my assets to my regular Coinbase account, then they exchanged the assets to digital currencies that are more readily available world wide i.e Litecoin, Algo, Chainlink. Then they proceeded to withdraw in hundreds of small transactions, each transaction aprox XXXXdlls in Value. Following is the list of all assets taken : XXXX Bitcoin XXXX ICP XXXX Eth XXXX Cardano ( ADA ) XXXX Litecoin XXXX NMR XXXX Solana XXXX Matic ( Polygon ) XXXX Yearn ( YFI ) XXXX SNX XXXX Comp XXXX EOS XXXX QNT XXXX CGLD XXXX XTZ XXXX AXS XXXX WLUNA XXXX UNI XXXX GRT XXXX AMP XXXX DOGE XXXX FET XXXX ZEC XXXX MAKER XXXX SUSHI A Coinbase Representative told me that the company is not responsible if I fell to a phishing scam and they were going to investigate but crypto transactions are irreversible. The fact of the matter is that Coinbase has weak safety protocols and this has happened to thousands of clients. On XX/XX/XXXX they cancelled an XXXX dll withdrawal on my behalf that I attempted to send to my XXXX XXXX account. they never explained why even though they had temporary access to view my info through XXXX. 2 weeks later they did not find suspicious that somebody had accessed my account from a different device, probably from a different country, executed dozens of transactions in a window of an hour approx. and then drained my account with hundreds of small withdrawals also in a span of less than 2 hours. Other platforms like XXXX will not authorize new crypto address until a 24hr delay, will notify their customers of every transaction via email, yet I signed on to Coinbase because it is touted as the most secure and reliable crypto exchange.
