Consumer Complaint: I used my earned rewards points to redeem for three XXXX XXXX XXXX. Two of the three cards did work the third card ( valued at {$100.00} ) said the code was not valid. I called XXXX first and their response was this code was never in their system, they checked the other two codes and they both did work. I called CitiBank to have the third code fixed and they said absolutely we will send you a new one. I waited 15 days and did not receive anything so I called back they told me that the issue was under investigation and to call back on the XXXX. I called back today the XXXX of XXXX and after talking to multiple representatives was told they could not refund my point balance enough to be able to redeem for a replacement gift card. I was told I could ask again in 6 months.

Consumer Complaint: Subject : Urgent : Credit Limit Reduction Impacting Rent Payment To whom it may concern, I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to express my concern and seek clarification regarding a recent adjustment to my credit limit. I observed that on XX/XX/year>, my credit limit was reduced from {$5900.00} to {$4600.00}. This adjustment is perplexing to me, especially considering that I had just made a payment of {$1900.00} on XX/XX/year>. I assumed that this payment would contribute towards maintaining or even increasing my credit limit, given my consistent effort to manage my credit responsibly and the fact I pay my monthly rent every month. What adds to my concern is that the reduction nearly negated the effect of the {$1900.00} payment, which I had planned to utilize for my upcoming rent payment due on XX/XX/year>. As you can see from my monthly statements, I regularly use my credit card to pay my rent. This reduction in my credit limit has now jeopardized my ability to fulfill this obligation as planned. Additionally, I would like to inquire if there is any possibility of reconsideration or an expedited review of my account, considering the upcoming rent payment deadline. I called and asked WHAT ATM ( location ) I withdrew the money from and they could not answer me. There is not address listed on the charge. In the past I have been charged for using Citibank approved ATM machines from their list of ATM machines and they DENY that that is their machine. I want my bank account to be audited for fees I was charged.

Consumer Complaint: on XX/XX/XXXX there was a charge made for the {$1000.00} on XX/XX/ there was another charge for {$1200.00} I contacted credit company and specially told them i did not authorize these charges. I was told that i had to speak to fraud department as i did and answered all questions Told them card was in my possession at all times and DID not authorize the use of my card to anyone. They credited my account months went on and no issues. then i was charged backed saying that the chip was used and and i said it must of got duplicated not sure put again i did all that was asked from me and these has been months of wasted time. I have a XXXX credit score so i need this resolved and Help please as Citi has be doing nothing i need real proof

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I charged my Costco Citi Visa card for {$7500.00} as part of an agreement I had with XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) to provide architectural drawings and engineering design for my home remodeling project. XXXX kept the fact from me that it went into bankruptcy before I made the payment. I am not able to recover the fund from DE after making several attempts, despite the fact that XXXX has not fulfilled its obligation per the contract terms. Therefore, I turned to Citi Visa to open the dispute in XX/XX/XXXX. After several months of back and forth responding to document requests, on XX/XX/XXXX, I learned from talking to the Dispute line that the case was denied. I was told that Citi has no way of reopening the case and that XXXX made the decision, not Citi. Clearly, the services were not provided and I was denied a refund/billing adjustment of the full amount. Citi could not provide me with a contact at XXXX in order for me to inquire a specific reason other than not sufficient information to arrive at a favorable decision. I have provided all the documents requested of me with explanations.

On XX/XX/XXXX I went to the XXXX Store in our town and determined someone from a Best Buy iin another city had an in Store purchase accessed our XXXX account and disconnected our devices, they tried to set up other devices on the account. XXXX fixed our account. Today XX/XX/XXXX, we have emails stating an credit card was set in our name with {$1900.00} dollars worth of charges on a Best Buy Credit card. I would like Best Buy to delete/purge their system of my profile/information from their system and provide me proof of no other existing credit accounts. If this can't be done freeze our accounts from any additions to be created.

Consumer Complaint: 1st Contact : Called Citibank IRA to initiate IRA rollover of {$3900.00} to another institution ( XXXX ) where my XXXX IRA is held. Initial contact was on XX/XX/XXXX. Documents emailed to me same day and filled out in order the begin the conversion process. Mailed out as directed- I was told to wait XXXX business days. Received no follow up on status. 2nd Contact : I called back in the beginning of XX/XX/XXXX to follow up and was told that documents were missing, and I need to fill out and another form regarding a name change. Mailed docs to them as directed yet received no follow up on status. 3rd Contact : Called back to follow up on XX/XX/XXXX - spoke with agent XXXX. She told me I need to fill out and send in these forms... again! via mail. I'm being severely inconvenienced because it took almost XXXX months to simply initiate a basic rollover. This is the only organization I've had this problem with. It seems my simple request is being mismanaged or mishandled and they make it hard for customers to retrieve their funds. Their process is incredibly inefficient and inconveniences me as a customer. I should not have to jump through hoops continuously- on my dime- to get access to my retirement funds. They need to work on creating a more seamless customer centric process. Also, this organization should have better customer outreach and follow up for if they need additional info in order to move forward with requests. Neglecting to do so shows bad faith, poor company ethics, as well as general reluctance to disburse funds as requested. It seems they make this process difficult in order to hoard funds. This process is negatively impacting me and I'm requesting immediate resolution.
