Consumer Complaint: Citi Bank has just stole close to {$8000.00} from my checking and savings account which happened literally the day after I told them they can automatically transfer funds from my savings account which I had around {$11000.00} to my checking account in a occurrence in which I go overdrawn which hasnt happened in years. I did this thinking this was already a part of my account. However, the first person didnt know what I was talking about. Didnt understand English transfer me to someone else and that person supposedly did that. I wake up in the morning I open up my checking account theres for {$2000.00} transfers to somewhere I have no idea and while Im sitting there, it literally changes in front of my eyes and this is the checking account by the way those for {$2000.00} charges vanish in front of my eyes and I have less money and theres more deposits along with Posted transactions that were already posted. Timing periods that had already were pending were now posted or vice a versa. Everything changed. I logged out went to the bathroom. Came back one to my savings account. My savings account did everything besides the quantities or the screen didnt change in front of my eyes XXXX I am screenshot showing {$12000.00}. Somehow I have {$11.00} in my checking account and {$5900.00} in my savings account. This is happened before two years ago but not to the {$8000.00} extent or I figure might be even more than that, I talk to the lady on the phone from the Philippines representing Citi Bank who hung up on me when I was not in raged or even raise my voice but she was frustrated because I said yes I paid XXXX XXXX {$1600.00} where is the other {$6400.00} And she had no answer. She said I was wrong and she said I could file just a complaint or dispute and magically just got disconnected from her never called me back trying to verify my identity over and over and pretended she didnt even know that I had a savings account when we already talked about it, so basically what Im trying to say is Citi Bank who fuels calls from the Philippines ? I dont know where their headquarters are, probably New York one of the biggest banks if not the biggest bank in the world next to XXXX XXXX XXXX stole {$8000.00} from my account. I am XXXX XXXX XXXX. This is disgusting and its probably one of the employees because if you dont show that theres something that was once there and it magically disappears. Theres no evidence of it ever being there. Its a very intricate scam Im being sarcastic by the way. Basically all they do is play around with the numbers the underlying employees And then change dates periods. Post times I was told many times that a check was already posted and the lady told me oh no that was in XXXX I said it was posted the same day so someone can please call me at XXXX I am going to the hospital because I am in so much Emotional distress right now. Please leave a voicemail if I dont answer the phone please I will get back to you but I am I have to go to the hospital right now. I dont have time to deal with them as they just hung up on me I believe I might be having a XXXX XXXX as we speak or as Im writing this I should say, please call me. Thank you.

Consumer Complaint: I had a loan with Citibank/CitiMortgage/Citifinancial ( names have changed several times ) back in early XXXX. My family experienced a hardship around XXXX to XXXX and had to file bankruptcy ( XXXX XXXX ). We included this loan in the plan so that we can pay it back and we were under the impression that it was satisfied as we didn't hear anything else from them once the bankruptcy was closed and satisfied. We realized when we tried to refinance with our current mortgage holder that Citibank charged off the balance of the loan.. My mortgage company requested a letter asking for the amount of charge off and the date it was charged off. They refused to provide the letter and our loan was denied.

Consumer Complaint: Hello, I find some descrepancies with my credit reporting. In accordance with the fair credit reporting act, this creditor has violated my rights. Under 15USC1681 section 602 states, I have the right to privacy. 15USC1681 section 604A, section 2, it also states a consumer reporting agency can not furnish an account without my written instruction. Under 15USC1666B, a creditor may not treat a payment on a credit card account under an open and consumer credit plan as late for any purpose. Company name : XXXX XXXX I do not remember the exact date that I called them but I very positive that I had called them back in XXXX and while the issue was resolved immediately, the derogatory remarks stayed on my report. Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023, I discovered that there were debit card ( Citibank Checking Account ) transactions that I do not recognize or authorize. I called the Citibank customer service and filed a dispute on 12 transactions in a total amount of {$1500.00}. all of them happened between XX/XX/2023 and XX/XX/2023. The agent over the phone told me that they will review the inccidents and credit the amount withing 10 days. However, it did not happen and I received a mail saying that I am responsible for those charges. During the perioud and even afterward, I have had the debit card with me all along and nevered revealed the card number or the PIN. While those transactions occur in other states such as PA, MN or in XXXX XXXX, CA, I stayed at home or at work in XXXX California. There were 10 XXXX transaction, within 3 days and 8 happend on the same day. Even none of them in an amount over {$800.00}. In anyone 's eyes, it looks suspecious enogh and I believe Citibank should have noticed it before I take a look at my transactions and should also have blocked the transactions. And of course proactively let me know, just like other financial institutions do. ( I had experience with Case card being blocked and notifying and requesting confirmation by text messages, as out of state transaction occur. ) I am writing to an appeal letter to Citibank, as well as submitting a complaint here. Copies of the letter from Citibank and the statement ( With the transactions underlined ) in PDF format attached.

Consumer Complaint: I disputed a transaction. I paid {$120.00} to XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/2022. I disputed the transaction at the time with Citibank because XXXX XXXX charged me {$120.00} for an oil change. When I got the car after 3 hours the change oil light was still on. The tires were not rotated. The tires were not inflated as requested. I do not drive much as I am XXXX almost and XXXX and I get a small pension which gets deposited every month into my Citibank account, but I guess Citibank does not like getting regular retirement funds. They don't like old people ; they don't like XXXX people and they don't like customers. I do have problems talking because they don't understand or care about people in the US with banking problems. They are in the XXXX. What do they care? All they want to do is up the metrics and charge Citibank. I am not sure who is taking advantage of who but having to call over 40 times in two days and not getting a resolution is bad. However, since one bank has failed today, I am pretty sure that none of these people will have a job on Monday. It sucks. I have been out of work for three years and I must watch every penny. I have called Citibank over 40 times in the past two days. The reason that it is 40 times is that the customer service reps in the XXXX only get paid $ XXXX. So, what they do is hang up the phone and say the customer was rude. But the Citibank don't like me recording all the calls or doing a live stream on XXXX about how bad the customer service is at Citibank. But really, they should be paid more money because Citibank is not paying them enough, so they have to pad their invoices to reflect the metrics of a customer having to call more than 40 times to get a simple matter resolved. I can not believe i been talking to a supervisor in the XXXX who after 20 minutes doesn't know my name. I am pretty sure the CSRs are padding their invoices. Because if they don't resolve an issue in 40 calls it means they don't want to. XXXX the supervisor that I am talking now, but really not talking she is trying pad the length of time on the phone so she can make more than the $ XXXX that they pay her but still they hang up the phone, say I am rude, say I am nasty, but they are so so rude. XXXX hung up the phone at XXXX minutes. These CSRs are so rude. They are unbelievably rude. 40 phone calls to resolve a dispute is super bad metrics. Now XXXX is the whole I can't hear you thing in preparation to hang up the phone. The reason I know this is going to happen is because of the 40 phone calls I already made to Citibank. This is what they do. They say the customer is being rude then they hang up and they tell Citibank the customer was rude but they don't look at stealing money or paying people without authorization isn't or mistreating a XXXX elderly as abuse. I guess it must blood sport because they must enjoy beating on an old lady with a fixed income. XXXX has wasted 31 minutes 34 sec of Citibank 's money. Undoubtedly, she is going to be charging Citibank for XXXX seconds because she doesn't know how to do her job. She asked me my name about 4 times she even used my name in conversation then she hung up the phone. I am now talking to XXXX. So far on this phone it has been 17 minutes and 42 seconds and they still haven't done anything to resolve the call. I am disputing a XXXX duplicate charge to XXXX. I am also disputing a {$110.00} payment to XXXX that I did not authorize and the {$120.00} to XXXX XXXX After about 30 calls yesterday Citibank said that if I send them the picture of the dashboard of my car that has the oil change light still on, and the tire problem, the tires are not inflated. And personally, I think charging {$120.00} especially a XXXX yr old woman for an oil change that I don't think happened because the change oil light is still on. Citibank said if I send them the picture, they will re-open the dispute. At this point I am owed {$240.00}. Citibank is refusing to even consider the dispute. Even after they said they would. Citibank is refusing to deposit the money back into my account because they discriminate against old people and people with a disability. Citibank is bad at their job if they cant resolve a customer issue in over 50 calls so far. They also enjoy beating up on old people. Again, its blood sport.

Consumer Complaint: We placed XXXX XXXXXXXX into a CD with citi back in XX/XX/2022. They never sent the full account number or any way for us to access the account online. We tried to get resolution to access the account and they have been unhelpful and stonewalling. They sent a debit card, but we dont have a checking account so this didnt solve our access. They wont give account numbers over the phone, but never gave us the information to begin with. We have no way to login and track or manage this money. No statements, no online access, no account information, nothing. Every remedy they tell us to try has required the system to update overnight, but nothing changes. We cant even close the sunny and just get the funds back. At this point, weve been robbed.
