Consumer Complaint: In XXXX of XXXX my daughter graduated from high school. At that time I lost child support decreasing my income. It took me until XXXX of XXXX to find a second job. While I was looking for work I had to use my credit cards quite a bit in order to keep all my bills and high electric bills covered. I did not miss any payments at all but it made my usage go up quite a bit. Since then 4 of my credit cards have taken away my credit limits causing my credit score to fall ALOT..!! Is this LEGAL even though I have not missed a single payment in 12 years?? My CITI cards cut both my limits 2 times. My XXXX cards cut both my limits on my two cards and today I got a notice that my XXXX card cut my limit. How can this be legal if I HAVE NOT MISSED any payments or defaulted on these loans ...?? The Govt. increases interest rates and the power companies increase electric rates of course people will need to use there cards..!!!! Since I got a job in XXXX. I havent needed to use them but my score has been destroyed because of what your agency is reporting. Again I ask ... .is this legal..? Or should I just find a lawyer and take action that way. Why am I being punished for using my cards when I have NO missed or late payments..?? Also what type of lawyer should I hire for something like this??

Consumer Complaint: I have the Citi Double Cash Rewards card. When I signed up for the card, they promoted rental vehicle and travel coverage. In XXXX, Citibank Double Cash suddenly dropped these benefits, but I was not notified until after I had traveled in XX/XX/XXXX that they dropped coverage and they told me they would cover nothing incurred during a snowstorm in XXXX that blew my doors off, I had to flee the vehicle due to 100+mph winds. I went back and checked all my online statements and emails from Citi during this time and they never notified me of this drop of coverage. The only proof I can see are some third party articles in XXXX, but nothing officially from Citibank. I see this as an unfair practice. If I had known they had dropped coverage I would have switched to a different card or used another that had rental vehicle insurance. Now I'm being charged approx {$1500.00} to pay for vehicle damages, and Citibank refuses to communicate them not notifying me of dropped rental vehicle benefits. A Citibank representative said I should have seen the notification of dropped benefits at the bottom of my statements, and I do not see any. It appears Citibank did not notify their customer on terminating benefits, therefore I hold them liable.

Consumer Complaint: Citibank phone customer service agents do not seem very well trained in giving accurate information on funds availability with the type of account I have. I called in to Citibank phone reps multiple times XX/XX/2023 and XX/XX/2023 to inquire when deposits to my checking and savings account will be available. One representative claimed the funds will be available for the {$110.00} by the end of business day on XX/XX/2023. I confirmed it 3 times with her and she confirmed it 3 times with me. The second representative claimed it will be available after the XXXX. I asked about funds availability and why this was such a long deposit hold. I received various responses. At this time I do not have proper documentation on funds availability from Citibank. All their funds availability apply to teller and/or branch deposits. Further, Citibank did not give paperwork nor indicate they mailed paperwork for fees, deposit info., terms & condition for the account. They simply just allow customers to open the account without knowing important financial information. This specific negligence is harmful to XXXX customers, such as myself, that are trying to navigate a banking system with no direction ( obviously customer service reps give misinformation to customers ) geared toward XXXX and wealthy individuals. Citibank is setting up minority customers for failure with their accounts by now providing the information in a timely and clear fashion.

Consumer Complaint: I filed a complaint and Citibank requested my documentation and proof of both my passports, because I have two citizenships, in American passport I am XXXX XXXX and in XXXX passport I am XXXX XXXX, I sent both my passports and they have ignored me. They are holding my {$25000.00}, as I previously told them I have left the states and have only got a family correspondence address. I need my money because my property developer is threatening to foreclose on my properties. I have no money currently. I have given Citibank all their requested documents and they have simply ignored me. I Need my money and I would love for them to transfer it to my XXXX account or give me access so I can do it because if I have to pay out of pocket for flights to america to pick up a cheque when I have done nothing illegal or wrong apart from been there victim of citi stealing my money under legal loopholes then I will have to file arbitration against citi for monetary damages and punitive damages. I need them to take this seriously. Its been 5 days since their last email and I call and they say I should wait for my case manager to look over it

Consumer Complaint: To whom it may concern, more than a week ago, the fraud department closed my bank account for complaining about the mistreatment and abuse towards me on several occasions, they did not let me make bank transfers and they did not pay the checks that I had signed since before they closed my bank account in an abusive way, just as they closed my account, I have called them many times and they have not given me a solution, regardless of the situation I was going through with my husband who recently passed away and even then they did not return my money based on excuses that my business XXXX had paid me to my account and that was not allowed, and that they would return all the money that XXXX had paid me to date for the last few months, taking advantage of the fact that they have my money in the account since if they did not have that money they would not commit this abuse that has made me lose XXXX of dollars for which I want to file a lawsuit, and contact the right people to sue this area, I went to the bank and found myself They said they would call me the next day and to this day I have no answers, I asked them to return all my earnings to the XXXX company if they wanted to ask them to return that money, but they haven't even done that to this day, I await their answers thank you

Consumer Complaint: -my annual fee came due for statement date XXXX as per usual i call Citi to negotiate a fee reversal as i have for the past several years or a retention offer instead- the customer service agent appeared to be from a overseas call center and could not speak english well.- she did manage to offer me a retention offer that i was not interested in- i told her i already had a non annual fee Citi Mile-up American Airlines card i could get the same benefits from with no fee. i requested that my CitiBusiness/AAvantagePlatinum Select card was no longer use full and clearly stated i want the card 'CLOSED ' and my {$99.00} fee refunded per agreement -the next billing cycle i noticed the {$99.00} fee was still there and the card had not been closed or canceled - im a good customer of Citi and have several cards and have never been late.. - Citi needs to insure that there overseas call center agents can speak english and understand it clearly
