Consumer Complaint: Reported to the company on XX/XX/XXXX that the charges made were fraudulent, but they are still holding me responsible. Im going to file a police report as well as talk to a lawyer about this case. Consumer Complaint: I started a refinance on my commercial party back in XX/XX/XXXX. I signed the refinance in XX/XX/XXXX. The lender is Citibank and I primarily dealt with XXXX XXXX. I wanted a 3 year prepayment penalty ( from the 5 year ) and XXXX got the approval. On the day of signed the loan documents, I noticed the note mentioned 5 year prepayment penalty and told XXXX about it. He told me he would get a 3 year prepayment document to me to sign later on. I also found it very odd that XXXX knew of the notary and the notary 's colleagues on a first name basis. The whole signing felt pressured for me to sign and just move on and not read the documents. The notary did XXXX explanations. Moving forward, the signing was on XX/XX/XXXX. I messaged XXXX about a month later in XXXX about the 3 year prepayment and he replied back, " Working on it. '' I did not hear anything and in XXXX I asked him again but he seems to be ignoring my messages now.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023 at XXXX XXXX. I received a text from Macy 's Security Alerts, " Your macys.com email address has been updated. Didn't request this change? Contact Customer Service at XXXX. '' I contacted the number, and they kept telling me they were unable to help me because the email address I gave to them wasn't in their system. This is exactly the issue I was calling about. Someone changed my email and took over my account, making purchases. They finally took my phone number and accessed a portion of my account and said they removed my Macy 's card from the account. I asked them to remove all of the cards associated with the account and they said they couldn't do that without my email address. My husband works in XXXX. There is a way to look up the old email address to see what activity has been going on in an account, even when an email address has been changed/compromised. We kept going in circles. I requested a manager or someone who could understand what I was asking. They disconnected me. I called back, waited XXXX minutes and finally talked to someone who then told me that HE removed my card from the account. Someone had allegedly already removed it from my account the first time I called, so now I have zero faith that the card has been removed. They told me they would send a new card. I asked to speak to a manager/supervisor, and I was again disconnected. I need someone to remove all of the credit cards associated with my Macys.com account.

Under, 15 U.S Code 1681b - Permissible purposes of consumer reports ( a ) IN GENERAL Subject to subsection ( c ) any consumer reporting agency may furnish a consumer report under the following circumstances and no other : ( 2 ) In accordance with the WRITTEN INSTRUCTION of the consumer to whom it relates. I NEVER gave any consumer reporting agency WRITTEN to report anything on my consumer report which violates my rights as a federal pro consumer. NO CONSENT IS IDENTITY THEFT. As a consumer I am demanding deletion of all accounts listed due the identity theft.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, we ordered a wire transfer from Citibank to XXXX. All data was provided, all verifications submitted, adequate balance etc.. The online banking site said " successfully transferred. '' It was not, never received by XXXX. It bounced back. After many calls and inquiries, we submitted again. It happened again. I visited a branch of the bank, they were on the phone with wire transfer, assured me that all was well. I tried a third time. It is now four days since the original request and it has not yet been processed. We have repeatedly called the bank 's wire transfer department ( a call center somewhere ), to be told it was being " investigated. '' Citibank has had our money for four days and we have not had use of our own funds.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I checked my Citi Mobile app to see the last statement balance. The remaining amount due for the last statement balance was {$220.00}. I took a screen shot of this. I made the final payment of {$220.00}, which was credited on XX/XX/. I looked at my statement today, XX/XX/2023, and it showed that I was charged interest of {$80.00}. I should not have been charged any interest since I paid the previous balance in full. I called Citi card and they let me know they will reverse the interest charge. This is the 2nd time this has happened, and I feel that it is fraudulent that I have to check my account and call regarding this, since the interest should not have been charged at all.

Consumer Complaint: I've attempted to cancel a subscription service, and believed I had done so. I did not update any payment information with this service, and the payment information they had should not have been valid. They renewed my subscription against my wishes and I have filed a report with the ftc. They somehow charged my card despite not having current payment information. When I saw the charge I immediately disputed it with citi bank, but months later was told there was nothing they could do and was charged regardless.

Consumer Complaint: I was offered a special interest rate offer from Citi bank after the previous complaint in XX/XX/XXXX. The offer was a 3.9 % interest rate for all purchasing, ending on XX/XX/XXXX. I took advantage of this offer I was given from Citi. I have talked to their customer service representative to ensure this offer is on my account and future payment including the interest rate. Today, I saw my banking statement, and my interest rate is showing 19.99 % for purchasing transactions during this special offer ( before XX/XX/XXXX ). I agreed to get their offer, and there's no 'fine print ' of my interest will change to 19.99 % for the remaining account balance for the special rate purchases. In the past, I have XXXX payment service on this credit card, the special interest rate was offered for this XXXX, and it has been kept the same rate. As my complaint last year and now, only this credit card account has the problems always, but other Citi credit card account and other bank accounts has never had any problems. Citi should not change its offer term without notification to consumers. Citi has failed to inform the interest rate will change back to the normal rate for the remaining account balance with the special interest rate.
