Consumer Complaint: seen this brandsource card could buy something from there stores and make payments they send a card all i could see was brandsource thought they were the finance company thats how it sounds bought a mattress from a local store missed a payment didnt know it was citi bank so i get a email from brand source but was actually from citi ok i paid it and ask for a copy of this agreement that i signed with citi they sent me there type up card agreement with no authorization any where from me into a contract with citi XXXX so my complaint is how do i have a contract with XXXX bank for something i never asked them for and they have never granted me anything from XXXX ever and there letter says they consider this matter resolved very shady brand source never mentioned XXXX i thought my account was with them you have to sign in and be approved for brand source as far as i know i signed nothing with XXXX or brandsource if that matters

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/22, I opened a checking and savings account and funded the same day with {$75000.00}. Citi had a promotion that paid {$1000.00} bonus after keeping the account for 90 days. I received an email that says : " to receive a Cash Bonus : Deposit New-to-Citibank Funds into your new checking account OR between your new checking account AND a new Citi Savings Account within 20 days of account opening. The balance on the XXXX calendar day after you open your account will determine your maximum Cash Bonus. * '' I did as they instructed and left the $ XXXX in the account. Now they want to renege on the bonus. I have spent hours on online chat and on the telephone. During the last call, I was told I would get a call back immediately because the line we were on was so bad. I didn't receive a call back.

Consumer Complaint: I am submitting this communication as a formal complaint against XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX who has an engaged in a predatory, deceitful, and willful practices to destroy and ruin my credit. As a way of background, On XX/XX/XXXX, I obtained a HELOC from Citibank on a property I owned at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX NY XXXX, the predecessor in interest to XXXX, there was an ambiguous and unsubstantiated debt which was contested paid for at least 13 years and subsequently after that period XXXX produced a payoff letter which was paid in full on or about XX/XX/XXXX. Payoff letters were generated and mailed to me ensuring that the debt was fully satisfied, about a year later XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX starts reporting to all the credit bureaus instances of delinquent payments and continues to do the same every month until today. This has tremendously damaged my credit worthiness and my business prospects, which caused numerous business opportunities to be quashed as a direct result of XXXX willful malicious conduct

Consumer Complaint: Last XX/XX/2023, I applied for a balance transfer from Citibank XXXX XXXX Card to XXXX XXXX using the citibank 's mobile app. In the app, I can either enter the card number or scan the card where I will have to transfer the balance from and so I chose scan card to make it quick. After I click scan, it automatically send without showing the account number where the balance will be transferred. I thought that the account number that was registered during the scan was correct. So I waited for a day and it was approved on XX/XX/2023. So I checked my XXXX XXXX credit card if it showed the balance transfer but it didn't so I chatted the citibank online bot and it said I need to wait for a day or two to reflect. So on XX/XX/2023, I called the customer service to inquire about my balance transfer why I was already charged in my citibank account but it didn't show in my XXXX XXXX card. So the agent checked the account number where the balance was forwarded but he found out there was an error in the number. I tried asking for the account number, he did mentioned a 9 instead of a 6 but I am not sure. So, I requested for a reversal of the balance transfer. He said they will conduct an investigation and that they will contact XXXX XXXX, too. I have tried calling several times and every time, I have narrate what happened and that they will again tell me that they will initiate an investigation but until now, it wasn't resolved. The balance transfer was in the amount o f {$1500.00}. I hope you can help me get back the amount back to my Citibank credit card. I tried asking other agents to provide me the wrong account number where the balance was transferred but Citibank customer service said they could not provide the account number where I have sent the balance. They are reluctant to help me get the amount back to my account in Citibank. I called AMEX but they said, they could not help me because it is not showing in my AMEX account and that only Citibank can help me because they are the only one who got the wrong XXXX XXXX account number where my balance transfer was sent to.
