Consumer Complaint: A scammer who was unauthorized to use my credit card charged my Citigroup credit card more than {$3000.00} to XXXX on my credit card. None of those charges appear on my bills. I am XXXX XXXX XXXX widow and the thought of me charging {$3000.00} for technology is simply perposterous. I have repeatedly provided my statements to Citigroup ( my credit card ) but they refuse to address the issue. I contacted Citigroup the day I identified the issue and seeking to resolve this issue. I have contacted XXXX over 6 times and each time they confirmned none of those charges are against my account. Despite this Citigroup has refused to resolve the issue. I have communicated with Citigroup over a dozen times all to no avail. In addition, Citigroup 's fraud department sent me to their dispute department and their dispute department is sending me back the fraud department.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023 Citi sent a letter stating they needed total annual income in between that time on XX/XX/2023 I received another letter they are unable to approve application I have reason to to believe that decision was determined on a biased conclusion. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Credit Cards XXXX It is a civil rights violation for a person who offers credit cards to the public in this state : ( A ) Denial. to refuse to issue a credit card, upon proper application. Equal Rights under the law. I the consumer and XXXX XXXX was denied credit by Citi when I applied for a card to use for personal and household purposes. My Social Security number was used to process that application which is an open end credit card pursuant to 15 U.S. Code 1602 ( i ) served as a financial asset. It is now considered an unauthorized use since I have received NO BENEFIT. I made that application in good faith, but credit was not issued. This is all evidence of fraudulent activity.

Consumer Complaint: I noticed a charge of {$62.00} on my Citi card that I did not authorized and had already late fees. I called Citibank bank in XXXX when I noticed and Citi Bank gave me credit back and removed the late fees too. On XXXX XXXX, 2023 I got an alert from XXXX that my credit card with Citibank was already late and had late fees. I called CitiBank and asked about it but they said the merchant had proof that the purchase was legit. I request Citi Bank to send me the proof from the merchant. In the documents the merchant sent, they have a different email that the one Citibank has for my file, the merchant gave email XXXX, the purchase was done in XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/2023, I have my records from my job that I was at work on that date in PA, USA. I already explained to Citibank that it was not me and that I am also a victim of fraud and XXXX in monitory my credit because back in XX/XX/2023, XXXX, XXXX had a security incident that resulted in the unauthorized disclosure of my personal informantion

Consumer Complaint: I recently received a bill from Macys that showed a statement balance that was over {$900.00} more than what I had already been paying on auto pay. After noticing the charge, I pulled up my Macys account and looked at some of my recent purchases. Upon reviewing my purchases. I noticed that there were three charges for womens items that I did not purchase. I am a man who who wears extra large clothing. If I have ever purchased any womens items, they have been for my mother, who wears a large or medium. The clothing that was purchased on the card were extra small and small womens clothing. When I reached out to XXXX and let them know that there were fraudulent charges on my account that I did not recognize ever I thought they would be able to help clear them. I have tried to get those charges removed from my account twice now and both attempts have been denied with Macys stating that Ive benefited from those purchases. I guarantee you I did not benefit from those purchases of womens clothing that neither I or anyone I know is wearing or using.

Consumer Complaint: This issue with with Citibank, N.A., XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, SD XXXX. RE : Home Depot Credit Services and Best Buy Credit Services Citibank is the issuer for both of these branded credit cards, however, Citibank does not take responsibility for fraudulent attempts to open these cards and I have been unable to reach a person beyond Citibank. I saw activity related to these two accounts on my credit reports and then received notifications on XX/XX/XXXX ( Best Buy ) and XX/XX/XXXX ( XXXX XXXX ) that both applications had been denied. I attempted to contact the phone number listened for " Manager, Credit Review '' on each letter to dispute the applications and request that they remove these applications from my credit report. Both of these applications are fraudulent but neither vendor is reachable by phone to answer any questions about this or to file a fraud complaint.

The nearest branch is XXXX miles away, so the only way to contact them is with their customer service number. I have called over 25 times in the past 7 months, for help to get access to my account. They say there is nothing that their department can do. They gave me an address and script to say to another department in TX. I have send multiple letters in the mail. The last one I decided to get it certified and signed, which they received in XXXX. Still no response. I've called again and again explaining that the TX office is not helping, but still nothing is done. I just want access to my hard earned savings and to close my account.

Consumer Complaint: In early XXXX, I discovered an unfamiliar Home Depot credit card listed on my credit report, despite never having applied for it. I promptly reached out to their customer service to report this as a fraudulent account. Approximately two weeks later, I received a credit card application letter from Home Depot, even though I had already closed the fraudulent account. They assured me they would investigate the matter and provide me with the results in the letter. Moving forward to the beginning of XXXX, I received a bill from Home Depot 's credit card department, indicating that it was overdue and subject to interest charges. Despite my numerous attempts to contact the Home Depot credit card department and sending all the support documents to them since XXXX, the issue remained unresolved. Now, as XXXX began, I find myself in the same predicament, having received yet another bill and still awaiting any form of response or resolution from Home Depot 's credit card department, and the interest goes higher.
