Consumer Complaint: This is my formal legally binding statement that has been submitted to my attorney & law enforcement about the fraudulent transactions that took place on two credit cards CitiBank, NA ( Macy 's AMEX credit card ) and now a delinquent 30 day past due credit marker that has been reported to XXXX for an account that was compromised ending in # XXXX. I was explicitly informed on a recorded line amongst myself and the Fraud Security team CitiBank, NA ( Macy 's AMEX credit card ) that I would not have to make a payment towards that account that was still showing in the Macys credit card portal since it was for fraudulent transactions. The balance reporting on the account ending in # XXXX is {$2000.00} The past due amount reporting as delinquent is {$110.00}. This is not only in violation of FCRA law, it's unethical to tell a customer on a recorded line on Thursday XX/XX/XXXX at approximately XXXXXXXX XXXX cst that this card showing in the Macy 's portal would be updated to the correct card and that no payments would have to be made towards a fraudulent balance. Now, I have a 30 day delinquent credit marker on XXXX which is a blatant violation of FCRA law. I have contacted my attorney and have submitted all documentation including police report, identity fraud report, call records and other information pertinent to this case. After reviewing the information provided I've been notified now by 2 attorneys that I'm well within my rights to pursue this further since both credit cards have been stolen and with XXXX fraud liability I have no responsibility for fraudulent transactions + the law enforcement legally binding police report where I reported this and other crimes committed against me. This is a serious issue one that I do not feel as a bank customer is being given the fair treatment in accordance with applicable FCRA laws. I have a detective assigned to this case with Law Enforcement to retrieve other stolen property items that were taken from my previous apartment and vehicle, so I will not let this go as I'm within my legally binding rights to pursue this further. I made a payment towards the active account ending in # XXXX and do not understand why this payment was reversed. Someone please contact me and remove the fraudulent transactions that were reported on a recorded line for both credit cards on Thursday XX/XX/XXXX @ XXXX XXXX cst & Monday XX/XX/XXXX # XXXX XXXX XXXX & remove the 30 day credit marker on the stolen credit card account # XXXX XXXX XXXX as this is wildly unethical to tell a bank customer on a recorded line that this account and balance would be removed and updated in the portal to reflect the new account only. Then to get a 30 day credit marker delinquent on this a few months later when payments towards the replacement account ending in # XXXX were made on time? Please correct this. Actions I have taken : 1. Communicated via phone with CitiBank, NA ( Macy 's AMEX credit card ) to report the fraud that had taken place on my accounts in a timely manner and within legal timeframe to ensure that there is no further fraud. 2. Reported this and other break in crimes which included sensitive documents, c ards, stolen property and mail from my place of residence. I have an ongoing investigation with Law Enforcement for this and other crimes committed against me. 3. I've reached out to legal counsel and it's been explicitly clear to me after submitting the evidence, providing law enforcement officers that took my legally binding statement and report that I'm beyond within my rights to pursue this further until CitiBank, NA ( Macy 's AMEX cred it card ) and all three CRA 's XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX are updated with the correct balance information and the credit 30 day delinquent marker is removed as I can not be held responsible legally for fraudulent transactions. Additionally, I have further evidence of my locations when the fraud was taken place, which is further evidence that has been submitted to the pertinent parties to prove the fraud. 4. I have submitted ANOTHER law enforcement report to report identity fraud. Please rectify this situation in accordance with FCRA law. This situation has been very stressful and after receiving legal advice after displaying the evidence, I'm exceptionally motivated to go as far as possible within my legal rights to ensure this is addressed as soon as possible. These details and all of the evidence has been submitted to the pertinent authorities as I await next steps. If I receive further information about the open investigation, I will update accordingly as well.

Consumer Complaint: Citi has responded inadequately to my concerns about the XXXX process. The CFPB provides a flawed complaint process, which requires one to repeatedly make new complaints to make any measure of progress. SEE : XXXX and XXXX. Citi has attempted to deflect issues around the XXXX, by suggesting to opt-out of it if you dont like it, its a problem with Visa or Mastercards, or its your fault for doing business with a credit card. The main issue is to determine what, in real world evidence, demonstrates recurring. Her mother and father, my maternal grandparents separately fled XXXX for XXXX XXXX during the much denied XXXX XXXX by the XXXX people. They, after XXXX years of being relegated to living in XXXX finally and legally XXXX to the United States. To put the gravity and severity of this XXXX into some context/perspective, by proportion and a percentage of a people XXXX the XXXX XXXX XXXX the XXXX of the XXXX during XXXX. This story makes me very perturbed, disturbed and angry. I have applied for several citi products over the years. Been denied each and every time. Now I know why! Im assuming that in todays day and age it would not be hard to determine my being half XXXX. The poultry {$1.00} XXXX awarded to the wrongfully denied XXXX by citi is on its face and through and through an insulting number. Its so insulting that it wouldve been better to have them have offered {$0.00} for their blatant and proven egregious wrongs. I hate the word entitled, but citi owes any and all XXXX a large portion of what is the {$1.00} XXXX in assets they possess/control. They are worth {$1.00} XXXX and give {$1.00} XXXX in award/damgaes!!! That is a mXXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX fraction of their total assets. Consumer Complaint: I listed an electronic item on XXXX XXXX for {$250.00} on XX/XX/2023 and the day after ( XX/XX/2023 ) someone reached out with an inquiry to purchase. He first asked bout condition of the device and then said he was interested in purchasing. He said he was busy so he would ask his sister to pickup the item on his behalf and that he would pay me immediately. We agreed to use XXXX. He claimed to pay me {$250.00} using my email linked to XXXX, but when I checked my account it wasn't there. I shortly got an email from XXXX telling me that the person has paid but I haven't received the money since my account isn't a " business account '' and therefore my credit is too low to receive the funds. To upgrade my account, the buyer would have to send me an additional {$500.00} to upgrade my account in which I would have to refund it back. He agrees to do so and claims to send me another {$500.00} with a screenshot of " proof ''. I then get another email telling me the buyer has payed the extra {$500.00} and that I need to send {$500.00} from my end to an " agent '' of XXXX so that they can release the funds to both parties. I unknowingly sent the money in which I soon realized something was wrong. The scammer then proceeded to pretend that he sent another {$500.00} by mistake and that I needed to send the agent another {$500.00} to release the funds he had sent in the first place but I had cut off communication with him at that point. Finally, he sends me another email which claims if I don't send him the money I will be arrested which I ignored. I contacted Citibank which is linked to my XXXX immediately about the scam but they said they could not credit me since I had initiated the payment

Consumer Complaint: I scheduled my payment of {$2400.00} to be electronically transfered from my checking account on XX/XX/XXXX and then on the same day Citibank also withdrew {$700.00} which was NEVER AUTHORIZED by me. Citibank sent a very confusing email trying to explain this second amount being deducted from my account. No one in my family could understand this email. I notified my bank XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX about the issue on XX/XX/XXXX. Even XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX could not figure out why Citibank did this and XXXX instantly filed a claim for the {$700.00} which was returned to my account on XX/XX/XXXX. Today I received another email from Citibank saying that XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX would not release these funds and that I needed to notify my bank to release these funds and then pay the {$700.00}. I then called Citibank at the number on the email and I spoke with XXXX different departments. I finally spoke with a representative that said all was fine and not to worry about that email. I thought I was done but this afternoon I received another email from Citibank saying I still needed to pay the {$700.00}. We can not make sense of any of this. We would greatly appreciate your help. I am very stressed out about this issue because I have an exceptional credit rating and I don't want any problems. All emails are available for your review. Thank you.
