Consumer Complaint: I deposited a check in into my checking account at Citibank that I got from a lawsuit I filed. Citibank claimed it was a fraudulent check even though they received the funds from XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX and then closed my account and never sent the money back to the issuing bank so I am unable to access the funds from the check I deposited.

Consumer Complaint: I received an offer from Citi to turn my credit card balance into a flex loan. The offer said that I could get money deposited in my checking for up to my total credit card balance, and I would get a fixed interest rate of 11.99 %. It stated that I would have a minimum payment of {$72.00} every month, which includes both the principal and interest owed on the loan for that month. This would be for 60 months. I took up the offer for my full balance of {$3200.00}, and had nothing else on my credit. I have not and dont plan on changing anything else on this card. However when my first payment was billed to me, I was charged not only the minimum payment of {$72.00}, but was also charged {$27.00} interest on the {$3200.00} loan balance. This gave me a minimum payment of {$99.00}, which put me over my credit limit by {$27.00} and was put on my credit report. I was charged interest XXXX both in the agree fixed payment amount and separately on top of what was promised to be my minimum payment. Customer service cant understand what the problem is, and after a while promises to refund me the interest to my checking account. I never received any refund, and they wont fix it for the future.

Consumer Complaint: Timeline of Events. 1. XX/XX/XXXX : XXXX sent out wrong credit report that effected my credit approval. My score went from XXXX XXXX XXXX for six months XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ) before being fixed. 2. XX/XX/XXXX Citibank : I had a {$27000.00} credit limit with Citicards in good standing at a {$0.00} balance. I have never had a late payment or missed payment for any of my credit accounts. Citibank took away over 75 % of my credit line for no reason. They also raised the APR on all three cards ( Dividend, Double Cash, Simplicity ) to almost 29.9 % from 14 %. When I talked to a credit representative they verbally said " My credit was not good and that my income was not enough to have this much of a credit line. '' My credit balances on all my other cards has never changed and I was never delinquent on any bills. After hearing this from Citibank, I demanded a letter in writing stating what they told me and they did in fact send me a letter about this incident. I have the letter in my possession and it states something different than what was verbally told to me. 3. I have 8 major credit cards ( XXXX, XXXX, XXXX ) with a combined credit line of {$100000.00} with only {$15000.00} balance used at a 15 % utilization. When Citbank took away my credit balance with no notice, it put me over a 20-30 % utilization for all my credit all around. This has caused all other credit cards to stop with APR promo financing, stop giving me a credit balance increase, stop from renting a new apartment, and even stopped me from getting a great rate on a new car. 4. Citibank has avoided mortgages to minorities in the past, they had a XXXX lawsuit regarding failed oversight on consumer percentage rates, and now we have a proposed class action lawsuit against Citibank and XXXX families in XXXX. I truly believe Citi either used an algorithm to attack my credit because of the hyphen in my last name ( XXXX ) or Citi reevaluated my account with a bogus credit report from XXXX. They used the bogus report to take away credit and to raise the APR rate. 5. I truly feel taken advantage of and did not know what to do for the last two years until I saw the lawsuit regarding the algorithm and XXXX XXXX
