Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, my credit card statement was credited with an {$880.00} payment. I didn't recognize this payment. On XX/XX/XXXX, I contacted Capital One to alert them to this problem. I asked them where the payment came from, and Capital One told me that it came from a third party payer service and didn't have any further information. They assured me it was a legitimate payment and that I needed to take no action. Without any further contact on this issue, the company suddenly reversed this payment on XX/XX/XXXX, nearly XXXX months after I first contacted them. They did not warn me this was going to happen, nor did they make any explanation for this. When I called them, they insisted it had been an erroneous payment all along and had notified me that they were going to charge back the payment. They had not contacted me, nor had they sent a letter. They sent me a letter - dated XX/XX/XXXX - only after I contacted them to ask about the {$880.00} charge back. This was an accounting error on Capital One 's part, and when I first contacted me they assured me that the payment was legitimate and that I needed to take no action. I made a good faith effort to resolve the issue when it happened. To now suddenly be charged these funds, after being told they were a legitimate payment, is unfair and appears to be a violation of the XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX filed CFPB complaint XXXX, was responded to on XX/XX/XXXXXXXX with explanation " Capital One has made the decision to deny these claims due to we are not able to locate these transactions in our system. We recommend checking with the sender of the funds to confirm they sent it to the right routing number and account number. To be able to look any further into these transactions we would need the 15-digit trace number from the sender of the funds to try and locate the transactions. XXXX These were not disputes but missing direct deposits. I contacted XXXX on XX/XX/XXXXXXXX ( he called back XX/XX/XXXX ) XXXX Ext : ( XXXX ), explained that I DID include the tracing XXXX XXXX at the bottom of my complaint and he said he overlooked them because he thought they were complaint case XXXX XXXX and that he would reopen the complaint and have it investigated. I have not heard back from him since that call. These were included in my initial complaint with the company before filing CFPB. Still no answer to where the lost funds are. AGAIN routing XXXX confirmed as Cap1 so funds are somewhere within Cap1, and confirmed with rep at VA unemployment that those are the tracing XXXX XXXX for each payment sent. They wonttake action until the payments are returned. Consumer Complaint: Hi, I am upset with using the Capital One travel portal after getting my Venture XXXX card. Here are the issues : -The filter feature has a bug. I was unable to select premium economy and sort. -Flight itineraries disappear in a few minutes. There's a flaw here too that caused me to spend {$300.00} more per ticket. Maybe search option is not showing all the flights. -As Mentioned earlier the search is not showing all the flights ... when searching for a flight on airline 's website, I see better options ( shorter flights ) at the same cost as capital one portal. But turns out I can not use price match or other similar features. -I was not helped with price match coz I found a better pricing on capital one portal. Where's fairness if you can not match to your own price -After clicking a watch flight button when the bar pointed dark red and waiting, the price has actually gone up and the bar now points to lighter red. I missed a good deal because of this feature with bugs! -On my recent booking I saw a tick on seat selection without any asterisk and so I thought I am saving {$200.00} on seat selection but turns out most of the good seats are either paid or blocked. -I didn't get watch flight option on the flight options I recently booked. Where as this was one of the major reasons I got Venture XXXX. -Support staff at travel helpline is pathetic. When I asked them to help me call the airline and resolve an issue they asked me to make call myself. If I am not getting service then I would have used my another card where the travel desk makes an effort to help a customer out!

Consumer Complaint: A week ago, I started a payment to Capital One through my bank. XXXX I get a message saying my payment is late and I got a {$29.00} late fee accessed. This made me look into the payment, that's when I saw that it was " still pending '' in my bank account in some sort of glitch. I called Capital One to find out what was happening and what to do next. I spoke with XXXX customer service people and XXXX supervisors without any resolution. They did release the late fee, however, my payments have gone from {$31.00} a month to now {$98.00} a month because of this! Is this even legal for them to raise my monthly amount to 3 times what my monthly payment was??? Now I've been " threatened '' with all of this going on my credit report!!! Over 8 years of loyalty and NOT ONE MISSED PAYMENT!!! I'm XXXX over this!
