Consumer Complaint: On XXXX XXXX I applied at a XXXX XXXX store to open a new credit card account. I keep being told that I already have a account which I did but that account was closed and discharged by chapter XXXX on XXXX XXXX. I got a letter from commentiy that I had a credit freeze on my XXXX credit bureau ( which I never heard of until today ) I called XXXX to correct this and was not able to resolve this issue ( kept getting referred to internet ) I was not able to resovle this issue there. I never to my knowledge placed a credit freeze with XXXX. I spoke to a accounts person ( jenniefer ) at Comenity about this issue and they keep telling me they can not do anything about it. Comenity was extremly rude to me on the phone

Consumer Complaint: I pay my account in full each month..always have. During XXXX XXXX TX area had power outages, no post office delivery for over a week and bursting pipes at our post office. I did not receive one of the statements, did not realize it until I got the next statement in and found a large fee and interest charge. Attaching the letter I wrote to Commenity ... explains what happened. Their response was a typical form letter that did not explain the interest charges specific to my situation, etc. Last month I paid in full, including the interest charge which I did not agree with,. Just got this months bill ... another interest charge ... this one in addition to the one in the prior month. This is completely wrong. I pay on time ... get the statement in the mail, check goes out the next day. I can not make any headway with these people ... I have been on the phone way too many times and no one is able to rectify this situation. Am attaching the prior statements so you can see what they have charged.

Consumer Complaint: My wife and I attended a XXXX timeshare presentation in XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/21. What we were told orally was completely different from the contract that was emailed to us. In addition, XXXX XXXX XXXX opened 3 credit accounts in my name without my authorization or permission. We never discussed opening credit accounts. We canceled the timeshare contract within the rescission period. Comenity Capital Bank ( CCB ), one of the credit account providers, received our written requests to close the credit accounts that got opened fraudulently by XXXX through certified mail on XX/XX/21. CCB called me after receiving the mail to ask me to activate my credit account. I hang up the phone right away and 2 hours later I got notification that Comenity bank reported that to credit bureaus that I opened an account with CCB. We are seeking help to close the credit accounts without hurting our scores.

Consumer Complaint: HI Comenity Bank ; : Im confused and stressed and shocked when I reviewed my credit report this week and I found multiple inaccuracies on my credit report from the 3 major credit bureaus from a collection company that I never have dealt with before. I've attempted several times to ratify the issue with the original creditors and credit bureaus and they still reporting inaccurate, unverifiable information. I have disputed this item with the credit reporting agency and they reported you confirmed the account as valid. I honestly do not believe to ever have any relationship with this collection agency or original creditor. Also there are several inaccuracies with this account the way it's reporting and that's a total violation of FCRA and FDCPA laws and regulations. In a good faith effort to resolve the matter amicably, I must demand proof of this debt, specifically the alleged contract or other instrument bearing my signature, as well as proof of your authority in this matter. Absent such proof, you must correct any erroneous reports of this past debt as mine. I am writing to request that you please provide the following information : 1. Please evidence your authorization under 15 USC 1692 ( e ) and 15 USC 1692 ( f ) in this alleged matter. 2. What is your authorization of law for your collection of information? 3. Consumer Complaint: i received my statement for my XXXX XXXX store credit card. the statement billed XX/XX/XXXX with a total balance of {$75.00}. On XX/XX/XXXX, I logged on to my online account to pay the balance in full. My new statement billed XX/XX/XXXX and i'm being charge a minimum interest charge of {$2.00} on a {$0.00} balance. When I called to dispute the charge, they informed me it was residual interest and they couldn't reverse the charge. When I log in and click " pay in full '' it should pay in full. I shouldn't be getting surprise interest charges for a balance that was paid in full well before the statement close date.

Consumer Complaint: Victoria secrets card-I made {$700.00} payment and it didnt tender it as shouldve been. Ive paid on bill date before and no issues. The one time Id was large payment they didnt post after billing out. Regardless the gd money was paid early on the account not late as it reports! Also while trying to resolve this matter they knocked half of my avail credit away-permanently! I didnt agree to this and I was not late! I have paid same bill date before. Comenity is ripping me off at ruining my credit score! I have since been denied benefits I pay for! They also closed Wayfair account that I jus opened. Im suffering from them moving locations and refusing to speak with me.
