Consumer Complaint: a bought something from XXXX that was shorted and damaged. i sent back what was sent to me. i was never refunded the full amount and disputed with comenity bank. this bank failed to do a dispute but decided to keep calling and hounding me for a payment and reported it to my credit bureaus. after many calls with XXXX and the third party seller not responding to emails i finally threatened legal action and got XXXX XXXX. XXXX admitted this shouldn't of went this far and the bank should of never put negative remarks on credit report. XXXX XXXX finally gave a refund but credit score was already hurt. comenity violated the fair credit reporting act and also has failed to reply to emails and 2 certified letters sent to there XXXX ohio offices.

Consumer Complaint: I have apply for XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX for a XXXX, have been paying more than the minimum payment every month, without any late payments. Without any notification I was charged for the full interest rate on the card on XX/XX/20 in the amount of {$3200.00}, interest rate was charged at once NOT on the balance ( {$5900.00} ) but on the total charge when applied for it {$11000.00}. I try to call to negotiate the charge, to explain that I did not receive notification that I was going to be charged for all the interest rate at once. They did not offer any agreement to reduce or remove the interest charge. This credit card is misleading the customers and it is a completely ripoff. My balance on the card went from {$5900.00} to {$9400.00} without notice that the full interest rate was going to be charged at once on the initial charge, not on the balance.

Consumer Complaint: I had an account with XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX for a number of years until XX/XX/2020 when the company went bankrupt and started closing their stores. They also closed all customer accounts and then kept changing payment due dates for payments and then charging exorbitant late fees if you didn't meet their ever-changing due dates. I complained to XXXX XXXX about this and then PAID OFF my account even though I made the payment due date at the time ( I paid the account balance online ). It didn't matter because XXXX XXXX kept charging me late fees on my account, closed BY THEM in XX/XX/2020. The company then kept ( and is still doing this ) charging late fees on the late fees and will not stop even though the account has been PAID OFF & CLOSED. And Now XXXX XXXX is Reporting me to credit agencies for non-payment of these fraudulent Late Fees! I am not going to pay any extortion or fraudulent charges such as this- and I want XXXX XXXX sanctioned for this criminal activity because it's illegal to charge late fees on a closed account! And I want the credit agencies notified of XXXX XXXX 's fraudulent activity!

Consumer Complaint: I've been disputing fraud accounts on my credit report since XX/XX/2021. I keep sending multiple sets of letters to the bureaus and the creditors so the excuse of " we didn't get it '' doesn't happen. Furthermore, each letter is certified mail with tracking and each letter shows signed and delivered and yet the bureaus are still not taking any actions. The accounts are not showing in dispute nor are they removed from my report. The accounts always show up with different name variations and different account number variations and yet the bureaus seem to ignore the trend and let these fraud accounts affect my credit score. I have requested the investigation to be initiated and also verifiable proof to be submitted should the account claim to be mine. Not only have I not received any mail showing the verifiable proofs needed to justify the accounts to be on my report, I haven't even received any letters at all stating the investigations have begun. Per the FCRA and federal law, the process is supposed to be 30 days. 60 days later, I'm still here shelling out money for certified mail with no end in sight and no results to show. This is my last option before I take this up with my lawyers and sue for full compensations and damages incurred. Finally, it seems that when these complaints are submitted, the bureaus are using the excuse that they " can't confirm my identity '' to get away with taking no actions on my credit report. Please investigate this as well.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX and the Bureaus are reporting an erroneous late on my credit file. Not only was I having issues making this payment online, I was not getting the help I needed to make this payment processed. It finally processed, but I was not late. I contacted XXXX, once I noticed this late on my credit file and they assured me that I was not late and they were NOT reporting a late on my credit file. But it is still showing. I have been with XXXX for a few years now and they have always been awesome. I know they will do the right thing. This is affecting my financing and it isn't fair to report erroneous information on someone's file.
