Consumer Complaint: I put my account on automatic payments well suddenly their is no record of that and I get a notice in my credit report that my account is 30 days past due I tried to resolve it but they did not want to work with me. I havent missed a payment in 3 years on anything in my credit report there was a better way that they could have been more customer friendly like even a phone call saying hey we noticed you were past due and I could have cleared up the confusion and made a payment immediately but that chose not to communicate no statements no email nothing just a negative on my credit report

Consumer Complaint: Hi, I opened up a XXXX credit card through Comenity Bank. In XXXX I paid off all my credit cards, including this card, the whole balance. I received communication in XXXX that this card was sent to collections, which is surprising considering I paid it off. Looking at my statements, after I paid off the card they had charged a {$2.00} interest fee but did not communicate this to me. Since then they have added late fees to each month and interest fees to this {$2.00}, resulting in {$30.00} that was sent to collections. There was no communication to me, through email, mail or phone ( even checked my junk box ) saying I owed or had an outstanding balance, due to an interest fee. I reached out to the company expressing my concern and received a very dismissive response saying they are at liberty to assess fees and no solution to the problem here.

The letter informed me that " as of XX/XX/2021, your XXXX Visa Credit Card account was closed due to previous negative experience with Comenity or Comenity Capital Bank. I've made payments timely payments, contacted the credit card company to inform them when I was having difficulty over the course of the pandemic and paid when whenever promised. Consumer Complaint: The investigation results were unauthorized and inaccurate. I am a victim of my rights of privacy being violated. I am distressed that you have included the information below in my credit profile and that you have failed to maintain reasonable procedures in your operations to assure maximum possible accuracy in the credit reports you publish. Credit reporting laws ensure that bureaus report only 100 % accurate credit information. There is no law that says that you have the authority to report any of my credit information without my consent. A creditor or debt collector must have written permission to furnish any of the consumers information. I did not authorize any furnishings of these accounts and inquiries to my credit report per 15 U.S. Code 1681b ( ii ) - the consumer has to authorize in writing ( which authorization may be made on the document referred to in clause ( i ) ) the procurement of the report by that person. Every step must be taken to assure the information reported is completely accurate and correct. The following information therefore needs to be removed at once.

They then charged a late fee and additional interest and marked account as late on credit report, dropping my score over 20 points. I went ahead and paid int and late fee and disputed it with XXXX and XXXX. It was corrected by XXXX but not XXXX. When I went to pull up dispute resolution from XXXX nothing shows. I am now again being charged interest on a {$0.00} balance by Wayfair. They closed everyone 's account in XX/XX/XXXX.and I continued to make timey payments.
