Consumer Complaint: I signed an agreement with Comenity XXXX XXXX to pay {$4500.00} over an 18 month period with no interest charged. i understood that it needed to paid on time to not be charged interest. I then set up an online banking monthly payment plan with XXXX XXXX whete check went out 8 days to due date. Payments started XX/XX/XXXX with last payment set up for XX/XX/XXXX. I checked all my online payments monthly on my bank website and everything was sent in time and came out of our checking account. Our problem started when we returned home from 3 mos in XXXX and received a bill at our XXXX address and it looked there were missing payments. I was never told by the customer service representative that a payment in XXXX was not received. This rep then went on to give us incorrect info. I then realized the POffice never sent our Fl Bills, so we called back to find out exactly what was wrong and spoke to 4 different supervisors that told us to send in proof of payments from the bank and they would open a dispute. we did this and sent in checks proving that XXXX sent all payments out on time and they were cashed by comenity health plan. We never received the promised call backs and five times the response from their website was always the same open a dispute and send in cancelled checks and the would contact XXXX. Now we are receiving phone calls from their collection dept that we owe all the interest. We proved all our payments were made and sent out on time by the bank. It looks to me as if this one payment that they claim was lard in XX/XX/XXXX was sent in the same as all the others 8 days in advance and came out of my checking then. Not sure what happened. but all my payments were submitted by my bank on time. Proof was submitted by us a nx nominee we got back to me. Terrific customer service that gave me incorrect info every time I called. I am XXXX years old and have perfect credit and this is making me ill.

Consumer Complaint: I ordered an item from a catalog from XXXX. I received the item and the invoice. I mailed my check on XX/XX/21 ( it was due XX/XX/21 ) to the address provided to me. It was not cashed until XX/XX/21. When I went to my bank ( XXXX ) I was told that the way the company deposited the check, my bank is not able to get a copy. I was billed a late fee, I tried calling the phone # provided and it would just disconnect. I then started receiving letters from Comenity bank to pay additional late fees. I have written 2 correspondence trying to resolve the issue. That I had paid for the product as soon as I received it. I'm an older man and have an excellent credit report. I do not pay my bills late. This company is gouging me with late fees. I sent my payment in time, and now they have added 5 months of late fees plus extra charges, even though I have tried to resolve this.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I received an email from XXXX XXXX XXXX informing me that due to my account being inactive, the account would be closed on XX/XX/ if a purchase hadn't been made by XX/XX/. A few days later I made a purchase with the card to keep it active, however they closed my card on XX/XX/. I reached out to customer service and inquired why they closed my account over a month earlier than the email stated even though I made a purchase, and they said that they closed it because I had gone so long without a purchase and I could reapply if I wanted to open an account. I then informed them that days after the email was sent, which stated that I had until XX/XX/XXXX to make a purchase, I made a purchase. This issue did not get resolved.

Consumer Complaint: I have a Sony Visa card from Comenity Bank. I have had this card registered for autopay ( that is, to have my payment taken from my checking account automatically ) since XXXX. In XXXX of XXXX, I used this card to make a payment of approximately {$7.00}. Comenity Bank failed to process the autopay. Instead of processing the autopay, they held the debt as unpaid. In addition, they failed to provide me with a statement at the end of the month. Since Comenity Bank never notified me that they were going to cancel or stop taking my autopay, I believed that my bill had already been paid. I was shocked when, in XXXX of XXXX, I started receiving phone calls regarding an unpaid bill. I exorcated Comenity thoroughly for not taking the autopay as they should have and paid the bill directly. I recently found that Comenity has reported a delinquency on my credit report. I should not have a deliquency because of Comenity 's failure to take my autopay. I want the delinquency removed immediately.

Consumer Complaint: Comenity Bank or the credit bureau 's have removed this account from my credit report however when I pulled a new credit report and I noticed that the account re-appears. I referred back to the FTC " Guide to assisting identity theft victims '' and it states that I should have received notice 5 days before they added the item back on my credit so it's been re-inserted illegally. I believe the person who has taken my personal information is someone who lived at a previous residence and I am a non confrontational person and I don't want to see anyone in trouble but this account is preventing my fiance and I from purchasing a home so I have taken the time to go to XXXX and spoke to officer XXXX who advised me to file an FTC Identity Theft Affidavit and obtain as much information as possible from the furnisher so my police report is not vague so they can complete an investigation which may unfortunately lead to an arrest.

Consumer Complaint: I had programmed my automatic monthly discounts, But notice they didn't discount me for two months, I called the comenity bank to find out what happened with the discount, they told me that the automatic pay and They told me that the automatic payment was only for 6 months and that I should call to renew it, I told with the representative of the comenity bank and I explain him that the nobody told me that, However, that day, ( XXXX XX/XX/2021 ) I paid on line {$250.00} and the balance was {$830.00} ( Shown Statement 1A ) The guy told me that my balance almost finish in XXXX because I am paying $ XXXX monthly. I was surprised with the new statement, because the comenity bank is charging to me a new balance by {$1.00} plus {$380.00}, ( Shown statement 2A ) once again, I called at the Comenity Bank I told with another representative, and he told me that the new balance include interest by {$350.00} ( more or less ) ; Nevertheless I offered to pay the total amount If he removed form the statement this charged, and I make a request to listen the previously conversation because nobody told me about the new charge. He told me that the people in charge of the bank would do that, and after that, the bank bank would call me, but I they never called me By second time, I tried to call to be explained why the case had not been solved. Even Worse, they are charging me {$23.00} ( Shown Statement 1B ) in additional interest on the previously {$350.00}. I make this public complaint so that Comenity Bank adjusts to what has been agreed with its employees in order to solve it

Consumer Complaint: The account was a wayfair store card with comenity bank. Comenity bank stopped doing business with wayfair and all accounts were closed. I still owed a balance and continued to pay on it until XXXX of 2021 when I just went ahead and paid it in full. The card was closed because the company was no longer accepting the cards. Comenity continued to charge me interest for XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX after I paid it off. Then they charged me a late charge too. In XXXX I got a text message telling me I was behind so I called the company. The XXXX the balance for the incorrect charges but said they could not correct the credit reporting. Below you will see in attachments that I paid this off in XXXX but they still charged me interest after it was paid off. Each additional month I was charged interest and a late fee. The XXXX statement with a XXXX balance is not available yet.

Consumer Complaint: I have previously disputed this account with the bureaus and each time the investigation came back as 'verified '. I decided to go directly to the creditor reporting and dispute with them. The creditor was not able to provide any form of documentation to verify this specific account with me. If they are not able to verify this account with me - the alleged account holder - there is no way the bureaus were able to verify this! I'm invoking my rights as a consumer under Federal Law and the bureaus are choosing to blatantly just ignore me.
