Consumer Complaint: I have spent numerous hours Thankon the phone with XXXX credit card department and still have no resolution. My problem started in XXXX when I made an order for {$140.00} in merchandise. I promptly returned all the merchandise and made the payment for {$14000.00} because I was aware that my merchandise credit would not be applied in time. They denied that they ever got the payment. After about 5 hours on the phone, they connected me to their bank so we could trace the payment, Commity bank realized that they had applied the paymnet to the wrong account. I requested that they transfer the payment to the correct account but told they were unable to do this. I had to make a second payment to XXXX while I waited for a refund from commenity bank. The second payment was also applied to the wrong account and I was charged late payments and interest. Commity Bank reversed all the late charges and interest as a FAVOR to me. I have made a final payment to the XXXX account in the amount of {$59.00} They continue to re-add the late charges with interest. Communication with XXXX credit has proved to be futile, therefore I am hoping you can settle this matter for me. My credit is in the excellent range and I do not want any repercussions due to this matter. Thank you, XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: According to 15 U.S.C 1666b the time of payments, ComenityBankXXXX is in violation of my consumer rights. Reporting any late payments on a open-ended consumer credit plan is illegal and must be updated as positive. A creditor may not treat a payment on a credit card account under an open end consumer credit plan as a late payment for any purpose.

Consumer Complaint: In XXXX of 2018, Comenity Bank put a late payment on my account. This was an auto-pay issue. The creditor recognized this on their end because when I called to let them know I couldn't make a payment, a rep from the bank told me they had the same issue with other users. They told me to wait a couple of days and try again. Which I did and the payment went through. They also told me that they won't charge me a late fee or report the late payment which they never removed the late payment that was associated with the same issue. It popped up on the credit bureaus and has greatly lowered my score.

Consumer Complaint: i have contacted all 3 credit bureaus as well as XXXX 5 times challenging the accurate, compliant, and factual reporting of an account that is showing on my credit report. each time it comes back verified as accurate ... .what type of investigation are these companies doing when there are so many violations and inconsistencies in the reporting between the 3 bureaus? there is no way they are conducting a proper investigation as required by law ... .i have attached a copy of the credit reporting with the errors i see,,,,, this account has been re aged which is a violation, this account is reporting a a charge off and it is also reporting a credit limit and a high credit... those are all violations as a " charged Off '' account should not be reporting any of that ... .look at the 2 year history it is not uniform across the board which it should be...
