Consumer Complaint: Since XX/XX/XXXX, Comenity bank, who funds my express and loft credit cards, had a system glitch that caused the payment system to crash. Payments couldnt not be made online or over the phone. I finally got through in XX/XX/2022 and found I was charged a late fee. I spoke to a rep who advised she could not reverse the late fee. I still cant get in the system to review my statements and was only advised by the customer service rep to call back in 24 hours. This is unacceptable. Ive reached out via XXXX only to be ran around in circles.

I have been patiently waiting on their response to the written requests I sent. However, any modes of response or coordination were not taken on their end. They have not complied with the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 USC Sections 1681i within the time allowed by law and continued reporting as unverified information which now, given all my attempts to address it directly with the creditor, as willful negligence and non-compliance with federal statutes.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I received an email from comedity bank that my new statement was available. I reviewed the bill and notice my payment was not applied. I verified my payment was taken out on XX/XX/XXXX. I immediately tried to contact the bank and on XX/XX/XXXX I finally spoke to someone. I was told they were having issues and hopefully all would be resolved by Friday XX/XX/XXXX and no late charges would be charged. I tried to use my card and it was denied for insufficient funds. I called again and was told that my paymwnt was late. I explain once again that it was withdrawn from my bank. I qas told i would have to mail them a copy of my bank statement to prove i paid. I asked to speak to supervisor who said my card was showing up as insufficient funds and they really did not know why. I have a XXXX credit limit and owe about XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: I have a XXXX with Ulta which goes through Commenity Bank. I knew I was going out of town and didn't want to forget so I logged into my account for the first time after making my first purchase on the card to pay my balance in full. I paid the balance and it was showing as paid in full on the account with a {$0.00} balance. After 3 weeks passes, I receive a notice in the mail saying my payment was refunded to my bank and now I had a penalty and a late fee applied to my balance. I called and called several different days during different times. I tried to log in to the online account all during the time from mid XXXX to early XXXX. I was unable to ever speak with a representative because the phone would just ring forever, disconnect, a message would come to tell me to hang up and try at a different time. I sent a secure message online and now the website says they are unable to reply in a timely manner and to call them. I have reached out to ULTA directly and they are aware of the issue begging people to keep trying to call the bank. There are hundreds of reviews as well as XXXX complaints online saying the same issues that I have been having. Please shut this business down and never allow them to do banking in the future. Then later I was actually able to get in the online account randomly. I made my payment for the original amount I payed. To my surprise, the payment posted and went through but it took 4 days to post on my bank. I am not going to pay for that bank 's fraudulent business practices just so they can attempt to squeeze some fees out of people who got the card to get discounts on purchases to begin with.

Consumer Complaint: Since at least XX/XX/2022, the XXXX XXXX Credit Card which is a Comenity Bank ( Bread Financial ) website is not available. They claimed to be doing a subsystem update that has taken longer than usual. It has been XXXX weeks now. I can not see my account statement or transactions online. There is no access to the website but the bank says they can still take payments. A XXXX week system update with a complete system blackout to consumers is unacceptable. It took me over XXXX min to get to customer service today and they are saying the same thing theyre said XXXX weeks ago, the system is coming up piecemeal they do not have a definitive date when customers will be able to access their accounts. This should be investigated.
