Consumer Complaint: Commenity Bank/ Bread XXXX was updating their system in XXXX and XXXX. I had a payment due and had trouble trying to make the payment because the system was down for days! I finally got through to make the payment but for some reason Commenity bank never processed the payment so now they are trying to charge me {$20.00} and my payment but I have a actual statement saying I made the payment and Thank You! The statement also includes the new XXXX random fee because I paid my purchase off so I should have a XXXX balance but when I called Commenity said my payment was returned because my bank account was frozen which was not true! I called my bank and they stated the account has never been frozen and that Commenity bank must never processed my payment through my bank. I want this issue resolved because I don't want this on my credit report!

Consumer Complaint: My XXXX payment to XXXX XXXX was made perfectly on time XXXX ( due XXXX ) and yet I was assessed a {$30.00} late fee on XXXX. They have rectified this after 3 phone calls. I am still concerned that my XXXX payment is only visible online in their system under the " Transactions '' tab but it is not reflected on my Statement... anywhere. Their excuse was a " system update ''. I am concerned that this could have happened to many more people and the CC company is raking in extra cash for bogus late payment fees. It is very sketchy that my XXXX payment is not reflected on my statement anywhere. I felt the authorities should know about this sketchy circumstance.

Consumer Complaint: I opened a Victoria Secret XX/XX/XXXX and a New York and Company credit card account ( opened XX/XX/XXXX ) In XXXX of XXXX, a late fee was reported on my account on both credit cards for being late. I have never been late and I asked for these late payments to be removed from my credit reporting even though the accounts have been paid in full and closed. I have tried to dispute this from my XXXX, as well as sent a letters to both companies and lastly a letter to Comenity Bank but I have not been successful. My XXXX and XXXX shows I have never been late on this account, and I made that clear in my letter to XXXX as well as the company. I have not received any results from the letters I sent to the company over 60 days ago. My credit is important to me and I do not feel I should have to suffer from wrong reporting. I have sent multiple letters regarding this matter. This account has been closed since XX/XX/XXXX and paid in full. I take pride in making sure my accounts are made on time and I expect accurate reporting. This report is still affecting my credit and I would like both accounts be resolved as quickly as possible.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX amount XXXX. I went on line to book a room for my nephew, Web site for XXXX XXXX, XXXX FL. Clicked on button to book room, was suppose to be XXXX plus XXXX tax. Printed confirmation and amount showed total of XXXX. I immediately called number on confirmation XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX which belonged to XXXX The person that answered the phone told me I could not cancel this reservation even though it says on confirmation free cancellation and I just booked 15 minutes ago. Basically they told me they already had the money and I was out of luck. I called XXXX XXXX and told the owner what was going on he said that he could not cancel because it was booked by XXXX. so now we have 2 players that say they booked one room. Then an additional XXXX service charge.This was a scam not sure if XXXX XXXX is involved or not. Did not use their room and did tell XXXX XXXX he would not be staying there. Not sure what their game is to double charge a reservation fee which I booked myself. It looks like reservation.com got ahold of booking.com and booked the room. I have been trying to get someone at Comenity Bank to help with this issue. They are rude, leave you on hold for XXXX hours and tell you they can't help. I still to this date have not had a letter stating they have declined or approved the charged. I have XXXX letters I have mailed and they always say did not receive. What is going on, is this a real bank. Their system is still down. Now they are putting on XXXX late charge and intreast. Stil have not received a letter telling me their decision. Please help. I read the reviews from Comenity Bank and it is not good!!!

Consumer Complaint: this is in regard to my credit card with Comenity ; My BJs Perks Mastercard I always maintain a XXXX balance on credit cards. Never pay interest or fees. My XXXX statement came on XX/XX/XXXX. I mailed a check for the full amount on XXXX XXXX, XXXX. Comenity cashed it on XX/XX/XXXX, making it two days late. I was assessed a late fee of {$29.00} and interest of {$6.00}. I called to complain and was assured that my check was cashed the day it arrived. I paid the charges assuming it was the fault of the post office. My XXXX statement for {$140.00} arrived on XX/XX/XXXX. I mailed a check in that amount on XX/XX/XXXX. Comenity cashed it on XX/XX/XXXX, a full month later. I was assessed a late fee of {$40.00} and interest of {$2.00}. I again called and was advised to pay on line to avoid late fees. It is readily apparent that either by design or administrative inefficiency checks are being held and fees incurred as a result. I paid the unwarrented fees and closed the account. I am XXXX years old and prefer to pay by check. I have maintained a credit card with XXXX XXXX for several years and have not paid a penny in interest or late fees. All my other checks arrive timely.

Please review the attached copy of both the BJs online receipt and your transactions and statement records for this purchase. Despite the terms and conditions on the Rewards applicable to this card, you are not tracking, processing, or crediting these Rewards accurately since XX/XX/XXXX. This was compounded with further insult when your online services list an award having been redeemed for - {$10.00} on XX/XX/XXXX, when the BJs receipt clearly shows no such award was used. Correct this error, re-credit me the incorrectly adjusted {$10.00} Reward, correctly accumulate and allow the use of all Rewards, and honor your terms and conditions! This is the most outrageous behavior I have ever encountered with accredit card and bank. Consumer Complaint: I opened this BJs credit card as it was to give a cash promo, which they quickly used as FEES later so I called for the amount to cancel the card completely with the full amount to absolute XXXX no XXXX later of pennies as they are doing now ... .so I can cut this up never see them again. I Never saw just piles of high fees they want to attach. Don't you figure .... now it tried to add another lousy XXXX for no reason, I figures they would you go through so much to find this company and get an answer. Im on hold RIGHT now again this whole time here as they didn't answer last time and how it's over 50 % charge to add to this lousy XXXX to get interest, of XXXX dollars and more interest on that interest. I saw this coming and why I cancelled the card. I am ALREADY in a once and done finish with her giving me the total never using the card again and paid. SO all this extra is to cause problems 45 days later ... no fees could have happened at all after we were COMPLETELy clear on them not pulling this. This is an old XXXX card scam. Not gon na happen and I'm complaining and warning everyone I know not to go near this UNKNOWn Bank as well that is behind the BJs company. NEVER ever. Now the on hold again can't take it for more than22.39 seconds and hung up on me. Same old same old. THey need shut down. The Bank is a scam of fees with NO employees and NO phone to get someone, They try to keep adding {$41.00} late fees and it says it still on the back page. Never let anyone get this card. PS. Comenity 's terms and conditions specify that " special financing '' applies for XXXX XXXX XXXX of {$250.00} or more made at XXXX Team Ticket Offices, XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX with your NFL Extra Points Visa Credit Card ''. In addition to special financing, previously mentioned purchases are eligible for XXXX XXXX rewards rate as opposed to the normal XXXX XXXX rewards rate. On XX/XX/2022, I paid for my XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX tickets of {$3500.00} directly through the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. The listed vendor on my statement was XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX a clear indication that the above conditions were specified. However, I was assessed interest charges as well as received the normal XXXX XXXX rewards rate rather than the XXXX XXXX rewards rate. I was assessed a {$45.00} interest charge on XX/XX/2022 and a {$31.00} interest charge on XX/XX/2022. I have attempted to contact Comenity Bank through their secure message portal and by phone. Comenity Bank has had " system updates '' that have had their listed phone number be no longer in service and " high call volume '' that have caused multiple phone calls to have over an hour of waittime without reaching a representative. I have been unsuccessful in contacting Comenity Bank to find a resolution to the above issues.
