Consumer Complaint: I have a XXXX XXXX Visa Card. Originally, this card was serviced by Comenity bank. However, in early 2022 this card transitioned to XXXX XXXX. I was not aware that this occured, so I continued to send my payments through to the account that I had setup foXXXX XXXX with XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX. For a while, Comenity sent the payments to XXXX XXXX and they were applied to the Visa balance. However in about XXXX of this year Comentiy stopped forwarding the payments to XXXX XXXX. When I finally realized that my payments were not being applied to the Visa account, Comenity had {$5200.00} in unapplied payments. I have called them more than a dozen times since XXXX and have sent 4 letters. I am not getting anywhere with this issue. I have a copy of payments that were posted on my bank account and I can show that no corresponding payments were made to the Visa account. Comenity has been so unresponsive. First they tell me to go through XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX to dispute and then when XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX disputes they tell XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX they will not discuss a customers account with a third party. Attached you will find payments that have processed to XXXX but not posted to the credit card. And you will also see the credit card payment history for the same dates. As you will see from the recon file, these payments do not appear in the payment history. Kindly assist me in getting a refund for this overpayment.

Consumer Complaint: Comenity Bank has not reported any updates to any credit bureau since XXXX. The following cards are in question. XXXX Victoria secret XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX None have been reported since XX/XX/2022. This is affecting my credit score, and the credit limit and use listed is wrong for all cards. I tried to call them and everytime I get hung up on when I mention the credit reporting. The company gives me the correct credit limit and usage over the phone, but is not reporting to credit bureaus.

Consumer Complaint: Hello, Submitting a claim against Commenity bank for threats, repetitive calling and harassment. This company to date has called me more than 7 times in one day, and have called back to back. I'm well aware of the debt and tried to fix this with them a month ago when the employee who was trying to help me left me on hold for more than an hour, i have XXXX and don't have the energy or time to wait for someone to attempt to help me payoff a debt so i hung up. Since this date, i have had calls nonstop and its harassing me to the point i silence my phone XXXX. The calls start around XXXX XXXX, and have ended at XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX - XX/XX/2022 Commenity bank called from XXXX at XXXX, then XXXX, XXXX, XXXX. XX/XX/2022 - XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, the XXXX This goes on like this for days since XXXX. AS of today XX/XX/2022 - i answered the phone at XXXX from ( XXXX ) XXXX to try and clear ip the debt, however, the lady on the phone, was rude and aggressive and told me i will need a lawyer if i don't clear this debt today XXXX {$290.00}. I attempted to explain my father XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and that i too was XXXX and she cut me off, so i saw we were getting nowhere with her disgusting attitude and asked her to please call me back in roughly an hour/half at XXXXXXXX XXXX and she said, no I want and you need to clear this right now ect. i was unnerved by how nasty someone could be, why on earth would i continue the conversation if someone is threatening me over a lawyer and outright rude. I am aware of the debt and i am not going to tolerate someone harassing me while i am sick, and my father is in XXXX. People fall on hard times when they are ill and a little empathy could have helped this company go a long way. I have screenshots of the numerous calls in one hour, and recorded the rude, nasty lady over the phone.

Consumer Complaint: On or around XX/XX/XXXX I called them to discuss some late charges- there had been a system outage when I tried to pay my bill and u couldn't access the website portal to pay. They have excessive late fees, that are as much as the outstanding balance. I hadn't used my card in months but had a {$80.00} balance due to multiple late fees ( at least {$57.00} of that was late fees ). During the call they agreed to remove one late fee and I paid the remaining balance ( {$50.00} ). I was told this brought my balance to zero and even called back to confirm because the call got disconnected during the original transaction ( this dropped call issue has happened multiple times as well ). Today ( XX/XX/XXXX ) I got an email from them about my current statement, and when I checked it my balance was back up to {$45.00}. I didn't see how that was possible because I haven't used my card since XXXX and again I paid my balance in full on XXXX. Looking at my statement it shows there was still a XXXX balance after I made that payment on XXXX ( there should not have been because I paid the full amount they told me- {$50.00} ). I believe this means they never removed the late fee in addition to the {$50.00}, even though they said they did, which left me with an unpaid balance that then accrued more late fees, unbeknownst to me. I believe they are predatory in the way they charge late fees and make it confusing to simply pay your bill in order to avoid these late fees.

Issue: Problem when making payments
Subissue: Problem during payment process
Consumer Complaint: Hello, during the months of XXXX XXXX XXXX I was XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Before deploying I asked for SCRA benefits at all various credit card companies I had. Comenity at the time did not have an auto pay option at all in their portals for the XXXX XXXX or XXXX XXXX store credit cards. I told Comenity that during my XXXX I could go for awhile without access to Wifi or a computer meaning there was a chance I could miss a payment leading to a late payment. I had 2 late payments and those have negatively affected my credit score. I have tried calling Comenity to explain them about the situation again alongside filing a dispute with one of the 3 credit companies only for no fix to my credit being issued. I do not want something outside of my control to negatively hamper my credit score and remain on for 7 years.

Consumer Complaint: I took out a Comenity ( Arhaus ) Credit Card in XXXX. I have been paying above the maximum since that time. My current balance is {$2600.00} but my credit report is showing that it is {$3300.00} because Comenity has failed in its duty to report to the credit bureaus since XXXX. This is having a SIGNIFICANT impact on my credit score because it is a single card utilization of 95 %. When I called Comenity yesterday ( XX/XX/22 ) they said that one month it was not reported because their system was down. They could not give me a reason why it was not reported in other months. Furthermore, they failed to notify their customers of this. Comenity has failed at every level here. Their mistake will cost me thousands of dollars as I have to make a large purchase and their failure will not be rectified by then. This is completely unacceptable and is affecting many of their customers.
