Consumer Complaint: I have been calling over XXXX to try to receive a refund for merchandise I returned back in XXXXXXXX to New York & Co in which I used my store card to purchase. The company has pulled tracking info & acknowledge the XXXX items were received at their warehouse but returned never processed. Each time I call they tell me a refund transaction in the amount of {$210.00} is being processed & I should get an email confirmation in a few days. I never receive anything & supposedly the process starts over. I asked to with supervisors, none are ever available. I even filed a dispute with Comenity bank who resides over the NY & Co credit card, I gave dates, times, item # & amounts on XXXX with a mgr, XXXX. I called to follow up the claim a week later and find out it was close the same day I opened it on XXXX. They are now stalling asking me to mail in the exact details already given when XXXX sure the paper documents will never be seen or investigated the same way all my previous claims have ignored. I filed a complaint with XXXX on XXXX, it was closed on XXXX because NY & Co never responded. New York & Co has numerous complaints of the same nature from various consumers on their XXXX. This company needs to be invested from fraud especially since there was talks of bankruptcy not too long ago. Consumer Complaint: On XXXX XXXX someone started making fraudulent charges on my card. They charged over {$30000.00} without the card company reporting any suspicious activity. All charges were made in XXXX and the XXXX. I've never been there. I was using the card in my home area of XXXX XXXX at the same time. How could I be in 2 places at once? This went on until I noticed something was wrong towards end of month of XX/XX/2022, called card company and cancled the card. The company told me in XX/XX/2022 that an investigation would be completed within 90 days and a copy of the report sent to me with their decision. I never received a report. They did clear all but {$790.00} and then began charging me interest and late fees. I have written them and called them and they have never answered my questions as what these charges are for and what their decision was with regard to my complaints. I've sent 3 letters and called numerous times. The last time I called they claimed that a response letter was on the way to me but almost a month later I have received nothing. I received my latest statement today and they are currently billing me {$840.00} but will offer no proof and answer no questions as to what these charges are for. I'm having difficulty finding a lawyer in my area to help me.

My voicemail becomes full from all their phone calls. They start calling by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Everyday. I was out of work for some time end of last year and couldn't keep up with all my minimum payments on my credit cards and I'm currently not working and about to move out of state and these phone calls are insane. The amount of them. They call sometimes 4 times in a row.

Consumer Complaint: Hi, Re : Comenity Bank XXXX XXXX XXXX On XX/XX/2022 I redeemed XXXX rewards points as a direct deposit to my checking account in the amount of {$2600.00}. After waiting the requisite XXXX business days the deposit didn't appear into my savings account. It still hasnt as of today. I contacted the credit card issuer and asked for an explanation. They said they couldnt find the transaction and that I only had a few rewards points in my account. The later part was true since I just redeemed them. They said they were unable to find the transaction even after escalating to the next tier support. In the next several days I received a letter stating it would take 90 days to resolve it and the appears that they were treating it like a charge dispute which this obviously is not. I have contacted my bank and they see no attempt at the transaction being made such as a transaction rejection. The secondary issue is this credit card was transferred from XXXX and XXXX immediately shut off access to their records of all users of this card. Best regards, XXXX

Consumer Complaint: Comenity Capital Bank, doing business under the name " Bread Savings '' or " Bread Financial '' is not posting the correct amount of interest to my Certificate of Deposit. I opened a XXXX CD on XX/XX/2022, with a deposit of {$100000.00}. As a certificate of deposit, the interest should compound, such that periodic interest payments are added to the principal and subsequent interest is calculated on the new, higher principal balance. Consequently, the interest amount posted to my account should be increasing by the month. But XXXX is not compounding my interest. Instead, the monthly interest actually drops some months. Specifically, the interest posted at the end of XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX and XX/XX/2022, respectively, was {$200.00}, {$210.00}, {$200.00}, {$210.00}, and {$200.00}. So the interest posted in XXXX interest was lower than XXXX, XXXX, and even XXXX! I am earning less on this deceptive, falsely-advertised deposit product than I would be in a properly-compounding liquid savings account with the same rate. I called XXXX to point out this banking error. The customer service representative could not discern the obvious lack of compounding, and said someone else would research it. XXXX has still not corrected the interest on my account. This XXXX CD is a fraud.

Consumer Complaint: I have 3 promotional plans currently with Comenity-XXXX XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX I submitted a payment of {$290.00} to payoff an expiring promotional plan that had a balance of {$280.00}. Of that {$290.00}, they applied XXXX to the expiring plan, {$1.00} to a plan that expired with a {$1.00} balance, and {$21.00} to a plan that expires on XX/XX/XXXX which has no minimum payment due. And that plan with the {$1.00} balance is still charging {$.00} interest. As a result, that expiring plan charged me XXXX in interest because it wasn't paid off. I spoke with a manager on XX/XX/XXXX and told him what happened. He submitted a complaint to try and get back the interest. He told me I should hear back in 3-5 days. I called again on XX/XX/XXXX for an update and was told that the case was closed on XX/XX/XXXX. The supervisor that I spoke to said that I should have paid the plan minimum balance of {$34.00} in addition to the expiring promotion plan amount of {$280.00}. I argue that that entire amount of {$290.00} should have been applied to the expiring plan ( XXXX ).
