Consumer Complaint: I received alert on XX/XX/2023 that there was a hard pull on my credit report, when i check it, there was a company i never heard of that had pulled my credit Comenity CapitalXXXX at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX OH XXXX. I am in a program trying to buy a home the time and applying for anything right now would hurt my chances,. I disputed and the company responded with it was my inquire, but if I'm telling you it wasn't me, how can you say it was. i have other cards and loans that i actually applied for i take responsibility for that but i shouldn't get penalized for a company doing wrong. I also reached out to bbb and seen this company has did this to others, with it being a day before it was done to me.

Consumer Complaint: I spoke with a representative from Commenity bank on XX/XX/XXXX, the nearest business day they were opened after unable to reach them on Sunday XX/XX/XXXX. I expressed I wanted to pay my full balance and close my account. The representative gave met full balance ( XXXX ) which consisted of a charge of {$44.00} and I believe a late fee of {$40.00}. After paying I asked if my account was fully paid which I was assured was and asked to close the account. I have been charged a least 4 payments since then and being charged on a XXXX balance.

Consumer Complaint: Since XX/XX/XXXX, I have attempted to resolve this issue with interest charges of XXXX months that are not due. This company has continued to give me the run around and keeps pushing the date further and further down the calendar. Now I know why - because they think they can push this issue off on another company- namely XXXX XXXX. Because of their incompetence, they have been fired by XXXX XXXXXXXX, and replaced with XXXX XXXX. I received a letter from XXXX Capital One stating that they are transferring my account on XX/XX/XXXX. Now I understand why Comenity Bank has been stalling for well over XXXX months to get the XXXX months of interest totaling XXXX in a check to me- this was reported to them on XX/XX/XXXX- they have gone way past the XXXX days they are allowed to look into and resolve this problem. They think that by stalling until that date, they can just transfer this problem to another company - a problem that they created and they need to resolve NOW - no more time should pass since they have already had over XXXX months to resolve the problem- but all they do is compound it! I have filed previous complaints with your CFPB and they just keep saying they are working on it. This is working on it - working to get it off their books, and burdening another bank with the problem they created. They sent me a XXXX check and told me in XXXX that until I cashed that check, they could not send me the XXXX months of interest they incorrectly charged me- I cashed the check XX/XX/XXXX and it is now over a month, but they now tell me that they are still working to resolve the problem, which is a lie, because I have correspondence from them that they already resolved it - they credited my closed account and still refuse to send me the negative balance- which is the XXXX months of interest they owe me.

Consumer Complaint: I have a credit card with Comenity Bank for XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. For the past 5+ months, it has been declined. I have {$0.00} balance. I added an authorized user in XXXX of 2021 & the bank removed this person without my knowledge. When the bank did this, they closed my card for whatever reason. Ive called 6 different times & spent more than 30 minutes on the phone with them each time. The first few times I called, they could not tell me why it was being declined. The next times I called, they said it was a system glitch & were working to get it resolved. It has been months & I still am not able to use this card. Id close it if it would not affect my credit. They dont have a timetable of when this issue will be resolved. On top of that, they have not reported my balance since XXXX to the credit bureau.

Consumer Complaint: I got a credit card with Forever21 but i was charged late fees when their payment account was down, called them to try to fix it and they cleared the fees and I closed the account because I was angry that because of their website not working my credit was affected. Months passed and I check my credit and it went down XXXX points from XXXX to XXXX, I called them and they said they closed my account and was supposed to take the fees off but they havent updated the information yet and its been months! to try calling next month to see if the system has updated but my credit is being affected badly!
