Consumer Complaint: The credit card from Comenity BankXXXX was opened around XX/XX/2023 and a purchase was made for {$1600.00}. XXXX credit identity service contacted the bank on XX/XX/2023 and the bank closed the account. My remaining question is that about this same time, my social security number showed up at a different address than my address. The bogus address is XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX, CO XXXX. The credit card seems to be resolved, but I'm very concerned about my SSN having this new address.

Consumer Complaint: I have already paid this card off twice. This company makes it hard to even make the payments, because it was through Ulta, and theres always an issue online, which is the only way you can pay it. This account was closed out after I paid this off the first time. I paid it off again because it was reopened and I was tired of my credit score being ruined and tried to fix it, again. They closed the account once more. Then they sold it to the debt collection agency that likes to harass me now. They didnt give them the full history of my transactions or payments and this current company is still asking me for money. When I have asked for statements in the past, they only send me a couple months worth, despite the card being open for multiple years. I have bank statements proving all the payments I made and it was accepted, so why is this still being continually opened in my credit report? Why are you still trying to get more money from with with only a few months worth of transactions. Thats not all of them. All the evidence shows up under their reviews online. Im single mother who is also a XXXX XXXX survivor. Im currently in XXXX full time and its sick that this company prays on people like me. This company has made my already traumatic life even more traumatic because I cant do anything with my credit score being ruined.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX Customer Service, Paper bill does not clearly identify phone payment cutoff. There are 2 places on the face of the bill that mentions in small print mail in payments being cutoff time of XXXX XXXX on the due date. Above that in another spot there is a late warning " If we do not receive your minimum payment by the due date, in this case XX/XX/2023, a late fee of XXXX will be incurred '' With that in mind, I paid over the phone at XXXX but heard the prompt say it was late. 2 conversations regarding the unfair practice and deceiving verbage on the bill only had them tell me that phone payment info is on the back. I expedited to a mgr. but they were not willing to budge and waive the late fee saying I already used one per XXXX months. The XXXX store has a young clientele and assuredly 90 % pay online or on their ap. so this company knows exactly what they are doing. I would like to cc this information with the letter. I was told I could only write to the XXXX XXXX in which I do have a letter ready for mailing.

Consumer Complaint: I have called Community Bank ( XXXX store card ) over a dozen times regarding this issue. We'd like the total fees of XXXX reversed and to pay the remaining balance in full. On XX/XX/2022 I received a suspicious text message to call the bank. I called the bank 's main number listed on the website and spoke to a Comenity Bank rep who told me there was no issue with our account and that it was paid in full. I received an email weeks later saying our account was past due. When I investigated, the account indeed was not paid in full and our promotional balances had expired. I have called numerous times since then. I was told a dispute was filed and it would take 90 days, this was XX/XX/2022. I called in XXXX and was told it was not complete. Again in XXXX, same answer. Twice again in XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX I was told by a rep they would email the dispute department to get an update and I would again have to call back. I called again XX/XX/XXXX and spoke with a supervisor who said there were no notes on the account and no email was sent. As the consumer it feels like there is some type of intentional ethical issue here trying to prevent us from completing this dispute and reversing the interest charges and other fees associated with the false information we were provided by a Comenity rep in XX/XX/2022. Finally I was able to escalate to the executive team at Community and XXXX and was promised it would be resolved. I received a letter today that Comenity is not refunding any of the fraudulent charges and are refusing to correct the fraudulent information provided to us by a Comenity bank representative.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2022 I applied for the XXXX XXXX XXXX with Comenity Bank. I received a hard inquiry through XXXX and began the waiting process for my approval/denial letter that was stated in the site to be received between 10-14 days. I never received a letter. I called and was told to wait a few more days for the letter. Weeks had passed and I didnt receive anything. I contacted them again and asked to speak with a higher up and I was told that I never applied for their credit card when I did, I told them, If I didnt apply why did I receive a hard inquiry?. I was then told to apply again on XX/XX/2022, and the same thing occurred. So after waiting weeks, I called and they still had no response for me. Finally, after calling and after the window of time of the approval or denial process they sent me a letter of denial. I called and spoke to a higher up after numerous of times and they had no answer for me. They didnt want to fix the issue and I ended up contacting XXXX and a representative agreed that they should remove the hard inquiry if I never received a approval or denial letter and since they stated that in their database they had no information that showed that my application ever existed. The representative of XXXX sent a letter to their mailing address and I never received a letter back from Comenity bank. I contacted Comenity Bank regarding an update on the letter and I was told by a representative that I would have to keep sending letters until they responded. And I explained that I have been waiting months, and their response to me was to continue sending letters anyways. I have been dealing with this bank for 8 months already and they have shown to be unorganized and irresponsible with the application process. They stated that they had no way of helping me and have not given me a response ever since.
