Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/2021 I bought tickets with Jet Blue to XXXX XXXX that were non refundable tickets so I bought travel insurance which was charged to the Barclay 's bank credit card associated with Jet Blue. One of my family members XXXX XXXX and I cancelled the trip. When I called Jet Blue they said the tickets were non refundable tickets upon which I replied yes but I have travel insurance. I called Barclay 's and initially they refunded the money but then they sent me a letter stating that the merchant had not violated the terms and conditions. This was not true since I had purchased trip insurance through Jet Blue as well on the same transaction. They finally sent my account to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX to try to collect on the account.I have never failed to pay anything but I feel this account was incorrectly handled. I tried to correct it on my own but have failed. I would appreciate any help I can get to resolve this matter and get it off my record.

Consumer Complaint: A Hawaiian Airways Master Card was opened using my information. This is fraud. I noted it on my credit report on XX/XX/23 and asked the Barclay Bank of Delaware to close account and I reported it as fraud. The address associated with fraud account is a XXXX in XXXX Florida XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, FL XXXX Barclay Bank XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX, XXXX, Delaware XXXX XXXX. I have contacted the Barclay Bank on the following dates to close the account and report fraud : XX/XX/23, XX/XX/23, XXXX, XX/XX/23, XX/XX/23, XX/XX/23, and XX/XX/23. I have received written correspondence ( I gave them my address ) which state that the account is under investigation. Every time I called the credit card company I am told it is under investigation. My credit report through XXXX showed that the account was closed and under investigation. On XX/XX/23, I noted that my credit score fell XXXX points and that the account was open and balance past due. I called again and was told that I would have to wait up to 90 days for the investigation to clear up. My credit is declining and the bank is very slow to clear up this matter. It is 100 % the bank 's error to give a card to a person who is not me. I appreciate your help.

Consumer Complaint: Going through XXXX, I had problems making my monthly payments and did reach out to Barclay for some assistance, but they didn't want to work with me. I finally went through XXXX XXXX trying to consolidate my debts and they negotiated a payment plan for me with Barclay 's collection agency XXXX XXXX XXXX. The last payment was submitted last XXXX and up till now they have refused to take off the comment that I have still been delinquent and that the account is in Collections! I have talked to XXXX and they have confirmed all was paid 6 months ago and sent me a letter of confirmation which I will be happy to submit and suggested that I contact Barclay directly. I spoke with XXXX in Customer Service at Barclay who indicated that I should be talking to XXXX directly since they do not show payments submitted!!! I called XXXX back and they confirmed that the check was cashed on XX/XX/2022 and that they need to remove their remark. As you can see, I have been going back and forth trying to have this remark removed without any luck! Could I please request your assistance in having them remove this item so it can rightfully reflect so on my credit report with the 3 reporting agencies. Thank you in advance. XXXX XXXX

I never gave my consent to get any credit or apply for any credit card. Barclays Bank Delaware sent me a credit card in the mail and then I called them and told them I never applied for a credit card. They told me okay and closed the account around XXXX, 2021. Consumer Complaint: Barclays Bank incorrectly reported that I had a delinquent overdue fee on my credit card. But they know that is incorrect! As Barclays Bank can testify, there was NEVER a delinquent nor overdue charge EVER on my credit card with Barclays Bank! As documented in Barclays case number XXXX of my account number XXXX it was always Barclays Bank 's mistake to report incorrectly that my account was deliquent or overdue on fees. Barclay 's bank then reported incorrectly that I had an overdue/deliquent payment to all the credit agencies ( XXXX, XXXX, XXXX ) XXXX Barclays needs to fix this mistake by communicating to XXXX, XXXX, XXXX that I never had a deliquent or overdue fee. It was all Barclays fault.

Consumer Complaint: I have one line of credit, a Barclay 's credit card since XXXX. I spend {$1000.00} or more a month and always pay my monthly balance. My credit score in the past has always been high. In XX/XX/XXXX I disputed a transaction. Barclay 's told me several times at the time of the dispute and recently the dispute would not affect my credit score. There seems to be no end in sight in resolving the dispute, as it has been 3 months with no update. Recently I ran into car problems and found myself needing a new car. Thinking my credit was good, I went to the dealer and was shocked to find out I have no credit score or no history to score on when a report was ran. I then went to 2 other banks, went through the process of getting an auto loan, and was told the same thing. I ran a report on XXXX myself, and I have no score. There is a comment on the report for my Barclay 's credit card that says " account in dispute '' and " no transaction history ''. I spend about $ XXXX {$20000.00} a year on my credit card and this is completely false. This has caused me much hardship and forced me to get a loan at a higher interest rate. I'm also looking to become a first time home owner and I have ZERO faith that my Barclay 's credit card will do anything to help my credit. I have tried to call all the available Barclay 's departments I can reach from and was told to write a letter to the Barclays FCRA Credit Bureau Dispute. The department I wrote to does not answer phone calls and only accepts letters. The Barclay 's department I spoke to on the phone can only confirm that Barclay 's does report my credit score, but could not confirm if it was being reported properly.
