Consumer Complaint: I have a credit card with JetBlue Airlines. Barclays is the issuer of the JetBlue credit card. My entire credit card balance constitutes of 2 different types of zero ARP promotions. I do not have any balance that is currently under APR. One part of the promotional balance expires in XXXX and the other promotional balance expires in XXXX. Knowing that I had a balance coming due to expire soon, I sent a payment to pay off that portion of the balance. After looking at my recent statement, I noticed that Barclays allocated part of my last payment towards the promotional balance that was due in XXXX and left an unpaid portion of the promotional balance that was due in XXXX. I have called Barclays to ask them to please use my entire payment to pay off the promotional balance that is due in XXXX, but my request was denied. I called Barclays 2 times and the second time I also spoke to a supervisor. The 2 times I called Barclays I was told that the way the allocate payments is it first goes to purchases, then to balance transfers and then checks. I told them that I was not aware of this, and this was never explained to me. If I would have known this prior to using their promotional balances, I would have had planned better how to pay the entire balance off. I asked where this information is disclosed on their website and both representatives including the supervisor told me that their website does not disclose this information. As a consumer, I feel that this practice is unfair. Barclays emails me lots of promotions encouraging me to use my JetBlue card, but they do not inform me of how my payments are allocate when there is no APR being charged. Barclays should make this information very clear to their consumers so that they can make better decisions before using their credit card.

Balance transfer normally takes 7 to 10 days but for some reason this account has been targeted.by Barclays. This is unacceptable and i would like your agency to open an inquiry.

Consumer Complaint: the payments made are not being credited to my account when received and a mandatory hold was being placed in the payment. I have addressed the issue with the customer service of Barclays in XX/XX/2022, but the issue keeps on happening and can not explain the reason. Barclays does not have a reason to put a hold to my payments, no payments has been returned since this account has been opened. This account has been in good standing. This is unacceptable and unfair. It seems like my account has been targeted. i would like your agency to conduct an inquiry.

Consumer Complaint: In XXXX, XXXX alerted me to fraudulent charges. I went onto XXXX and changed my password as they advised. A few days later, they alerted me again, and there were 11 total charges for the same merchant ( that were not made by me ). I opened a dispute with XXXX, and a few days later, they credited me for one of the charges but not the others. My credit card bill was coming due, so I called Barclays Bank and disputed the remaining charges. They credited all the charges back to my account but added some back on earlier this month and the remaining ones a few days ago. After multiple phone calls to XXXX and Barclays, I was told by XXXX that they could not resolve the dispute because they were still waiting to hear back from my creditor. Barclays says they added the charges back onto my account because XXXX confirmed they were valid. My credit card bill is due, and I do not have an extra $ XXXX to cover these charges. I have excellent credit. I do not want to ruin that, but what else am I supposed to do? I can't believe neither of these companies has been able to do something to resolve this issue.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX or XX/XX/XXXX of 2023 I went to a time share presentation with Wyndham. They asked for my social just to make sure I could watch the presentation is what I was told. Yesterday, XX/XX/XXXX I received a notice from XXXX and XXXX XXXX that I was signed up for a new credit card for XXXX with wyndham and it dropped my credit score. I never signed up for a new card. I reached out to wyndham over the phone and they said I did not have a record of that. I did some research online and there are loads of incidents of this exact thing occurring. This is fradulent activity and I did not sign up for a credit card and now my credit score has significantly dropped and I have no way of fixing this.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/22 I paid my Old Navy CC via XXXX XXXX XXXX bill pay for the balance due of {$52.00}. Since then every month I have been billed for that balance and late fees. I have disputed on my credit report, I have called Barclays, I have escalated it, sent in proof of payment 3 times to 3 different places as instructed. They still will not credit my account and clear my credit report. Hours each month on the phone, starting over every month. Old Navy changed banks and my payment was sent to XXXX, who apparently did not forward to Barclays. Barclays acknowledged that XXXX will not take their carholders calls, and there is no valid number to call them. Barclays stated my payment was returned to me. XXXX XXXX XXXX has advised bill pay payment can not be returned.

Under 15 USC 1666B a creditor may not treat a payment on a credit card under an open end consumer credit plan as late for any purpose.
