Consumer Complaint: I opened an Ally checking and savings account on XX/XX/2024. I set up my online banking and I funded my account by deposit a check in my savings and a check also I deposited a check in my checking account on XXXX the XXXX. I got a notification that my check would be placed on hold until XXXX business days which is today XX/XX/XXXX. Later on the day of XX/XX/XXXX I received an email saying my phone banking pin had been changed and I also got a message saying that my checking and savings will be restricted because they detected unusual activity it also said to call to verify some information. So I called about XXXX different times and got XXXX different answers from each representative XXXX of them said my account is under investigation and I am assigned to a investigater and that they will call if they had questions I also verified all of my information when I called and gave them my security word also but my investigator was very rude and was also discriminating me because I have a deeper manly voice. He hung up and told me not to call back and there is nothing that can be done. But mind you the first person I talked to said the restrictions will lift after the checks clear all the way which is Monday XX/XX/XXXX which is today I would not advise anyone to bank with ally bank they will try to steal your money. I also included proof and verification with this submission and proof that the check belongs to me with my documents supporting the check so I REALLY NEED MY RESTRICTIONS LIFTED

Consumer Complaint: Ally financial charged my account off as bad credit or debt reported negative debt to the credit bureaus the loan was for {$9000.00} I've paid {$8900.00} they are reporting I still owe them over {$5000.00} they also reported late payments that were not late every time I've disputed it they have sent different payment histories with late dates different as the one before they do not match my payment history that I printed off of their website they also were charging me late fees that were tripled the amount they were supposed to they also reported that I was late on months that I was approved for a program called skip a payment that I did three times and paid to be part of. Because of the charge off it has affected my credit immensely I can not get a loan because my score is so low because of this I have always had good credit and paid my bills on time until I got a loan with this company. They also will not give me my title to my car that I have paid for - {$100.00}. I keep asking Ally to audit my account and send me my payment history and all the late payments that they have charged me for they tell me they will send it but they never do I've printed them off they do not match what they are reporting in this needs to be taken care of so that I can get my life back on track and get a loan to buy a house and stop renting buy a car because the one I have is about to break down I can not do any of these things because of this charge off bad debt they put on my credit

Consumer Complaint: i have repeatedly had trouble getting my payment information, documents, and requested information from ally. I have repeatedly had trouble paying through their website. I recently found out they are attempting to sue me despite me attempting to resolve this via phone and email. I was told by ally that they will not be suing me and that I can continue to make monthly payments and set up auto pay on their website. Despite this, I am still shown on ally 's website as no active vehicles. meaning I can not pay my lease payment. again. The due date is tomorrow. Ally will claim I did not make my payment and I am attempting to do so. I can not sest up auto pay because ally has removed my car and lease from their website. I am very concerned about the behavior of this corporation. I was told several times in the past 4 weeks that this was RESOLVED and that I will continue to be able to access my lease online and make monthly payments, yet this is again not true. Ally still shows me as not having any active cars which is not true. They are blocking me from making payments in an attempt to continue to sue me despite me being CURRENT AND UP TO DATE ON MY PAYMENTS

Consumer Complaint: I received an email in XXXX saying my 1099Int was available. To login to my account to retrieve it. ALLY Bank closed my checking and savings account several months ago and I have been unable to log in. I called to talk to them when I received this email and was transferred to the Fraud department. They told me they couldn't provide it for Me, that it would be mailed. I have not received it as of today, XX/XX/year>. I never received final statements either. I was set up for statements and received notice it was ready, but of course, my access was blocked. I couldn't get the documents and they never sent them. Consumers are due periodic statements. My guess is anyone whose account was flagged as fraud is not receiving them. I have never tried to defraud the bank and when I get my 1099INT notice, I can finally be rid of this bank!

Consumer Complaint: I was a victim of identity theft and fraud. On XXXX 2023, I noticed a company kept appearing on my credit reports, Ally Financial. I have never heard of this company and immediately started investigating. I learned that this was a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX I then knew this was fraud and immediately contacted the authorities. I currently have a detective on the case and he updates me on a regular basis. I also learned that this vehicle was repossessed from the individual and that this person also got a DUI in the vehicle. The detective has made out a police report and I also had a legal notarized affidavit done and sent to all 3 credit bureaus. I also contacted this Ally Financial and spoke to their fraud department, and spoke to a XXXX. She stated they would get this matter resolved but it would take 30 days. Since then, I received a letter from XXXX stating that they came to a resolution of their investigation and that they are in accordance with Ally Financial and that I am responsible for this auto loan. This is a nightmare. I want to buy my first home, but now I may not be able to do this. I am also going to submit the FTC Identity Theft Report.
