Issue: Problems at the end of the loan or lease
Subissue: Problem while selling or giving up the vehicle
Consumer Complaint: My lease Payoff is {$30000.00}. I attempted to sell the vehicle and Ally XXXX is charging {$41000.00} for a buyout of the loan. This is nearly fraud, adding over {$100000.00} to purchase the vehicle. Vehicle residual value is {$27000.00} plus {$2100.00} for remainder of payments. Ally is borderline fraudulent and I will never do business with this institution again.

Consumer Complaint: I signed the original contract on XX/XX/2023 for my vehicle and in XXXX the Finance Manager called me and said that I was overcharged for the loan and that they were sending a driver to bring me the new contract to sign. The driver came and I signed the new contract. I texted the Finance Manager to get a copy of the contract and I have never received it. Even after the contract was signed, my credit continued to be hit which affected my credit score. I made my first payment which was due on XX/XX/2023 on-time. On XX/XX/2023, I lost my job. On XX/XX/2023, I contacted Ally Bank to see about changing my due date from the XXXX of the month to the XXXX of the month and the representative advised me that I was able to change the due date. At the time, the balance reflected $ XXXX being owed. On XX/XX/2023, I received an alert from XXXX XXXX that {$240.00} was added to my loan. On XX/XX/2023, I called Ally Bank and spoke to a representative and a Lead. They both said that no changes were added to my account, but now the loan is showing $ XXXX. I then contacted XXXX XXXX Finance Manager and they are denying adding the additional amount to my credit report. I even sent a screenshot with the notification and both entities are denying that they did this.

Consumer Complaint: I havent been able to use any funds on my Ally bank account for almost a week. I have called their customer service and, after passing all the verification questions, asked to transfer the entire balance to my other bank account. The transfer was initiated by the customer service on XX/XX/2023. Two days later my account was suspended. I called the fraud department and after a few verification questions the account was unsuspended. It was advised by the fraud department that there will be no issues to transfer the amount now. So on XXXX of XXXX another transfer was initiated to the same ( my own ) bank account which was suspended immediately together with my bank account. I called again to unblock the account. The account is suspended for any services now so I have been totally unable to use my funds since XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX another transfer of XXXX was initiated to XXXX which didnt post yet. It is supposed to be posted to XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX but Ally bank customer service says that the account is suspended so the funds will not arrive. I left a request to unsuspend the account again on XX/XX/XXXX. All my previously connected by me banks disappeared from the transfer section of the Ally bank App making me unable to use ACH transfer. I have had quite a bit of distress from Ally bank banking practices described above.
