Consumer Complaint: I am currently within a XXXX XXXX plan. My loan with Ally Financial is not included in the plan and I pay them each month for my vehicle. I have never missed nor been late with a payment since XX/XX/2018 when the loan originated. Ally Financial has not been reporting my monthly payments to any of the three credit reporting bureaus XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX and XXXX ) though I have sent them, on numerous occasions, the plan showing this loan is not included as well as statements that the loan is current. Each and every monthly loan payment is required to be reported as paid on time and Ally is NOT reporting these payments.

Consumer Complaint: I changed banks, updated my account information online with Ally, they continued to pull from wrong account even after multiple calls to correct. They then instructed me that i would have to make six months payments through moneygram because of their mistakes. Ist payment went through fine. 2nd did not go through even though the money has been verified as received by Ally. This has been going on for three weeks. When i asked to speak with a manager i am told they cant transfer m e, they will call me in three days, they will call me today or they just cant do that at all. Help! This is impacting my credit as well. They keep continuing to try to collect a debt!

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2022 I opened a new CD account at Ally Bank online. I had been trying to get in touch with their 24/7 customer service for days and was on hold for up to 8 hours at a time. So when I decided to take care of it online I accidently opened and funded 5 year term instead of 3 year term. Once again I immediately called 24/7 customer service and was repeatedly put on extremely long hold times at all hours day and night. After staying on hold for 8 hours the following day, I was told Ally Bank would charge me {$120.00} + of I wanted to change to 3 year term. I explained that if they had someone available to help me in the first place this would not have happened. I want to close my CD account all together now, without penalty. I have done business with Ally Bank for over 5 years and never waited for more than a couple minutes on hold, even at the highest times of Covid.Dont know what's going on with them but it doesn't look or sound good.

Consumer Complaint: A fraudulent charge, of {$83.00}, was made on XX/XX/2022, from my checking account by the merchant name " XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX. '' It also charged an international transaction fee of {$0.00}, as my bank account is Allybank in the U.S. As I have never had any kind of relationship with the merchant, it is apparently a fraudulent charge by the merchant or transaction made by a scammer using my account information. Ally bank initially credited provisional money {$83.00} for the fraudulent transaction. However, Allybank ruled in favor of the scammer on XX/XX/2022 and took the provisional money back from my account. I called multiple times to request the evidence they used to make the decision, however, they continuously told us to wait until they called back, and failed to present the evidence they used to make a final decision. Ally bank made an unjust and irrational decision, and owes me {$83.00}, and it has caused my account balance to drop to below {$0.00}.

Consumer Complaint: I've had a debit card with Ally Bank for a year and a half. Earlier this month ( between XXXX XXXX - XXXXXXXX, XXXX ) I had a fraudulent charge on it. I closed the debit card and tried to contact Ally. I am hard of hearing and it's hard for me to call them on the phone, so I used their chat feature. If I put in a request for an agent at XXXX XXXX, they'd finally respond by XXXX XXXX when I was sleeping, then close the chat/ticket because 'I did not respond in time '. Because I was asleep. After at least five requests, that card was closed, however as of XX/XX/XXXX I found that fraudulent charges were still trying to be charged onto that closed card. I only received the new card on XX/XX/XXXX, only put two XXXX transactions on it, and on XX/XX/XXXX I found TWO MORE fraudulent charges on it. I have since requested any debit card I currently have with them deactivated and closed. As of now I am waiting for my money back and will be transferring my funds to another bank.

Consumer Complaint: To Ally Legal department : As of XXXX my account remains open due to the incompetence of your procedures. Ally bank received my Payoff check from XXXX bank mid XX/XX/2022 for the car loan Ally bank did not apply the chk till XXXX. This in turn Caused my account to go past due. This cased my credit to drop XXXX point XX/XX/2022 and a finance charge of {$80.00} to be applied to my open balance. ( account still not closed ) Because my credit is no longer A+ your bank has caused me financial stress as I can not close my home refi. My new home loan is now compromised due to Ally banks error as the interest rates have gone up since XX/XX/2022. For these reasons, I will be seeking compensation through my attorney and any legal Avenue.
