Consumer Complaint: On my credit report with FedLoan it shows I have XXXX accounts/ loans. My loans have been in forbearance and/ or a {$0.00} payment re-payment plan. My account shows that the loans were late but I never had a payment due because I didnt have a payment. I have spoken to FedLoan many times and they said that they can not undue the mistakes that someone else made on my account because they can not verify what that person said. But the fact of the matter is I never had a payment to make. I have requested that the three credit bureaus investigate the accounts many times but the accounts are never corrected and the late/ missed payment reporting still shows. Now that the account is closed I can not do anything. This information is hindering me from be able to securing funding and operate my business. In accordance to 15 U.S.C. 1681a 602a the information furnished and being reported is inaccurate and causing tremendous burden.

Consumer Complaint: In early XXXX my family and I arrived in the US due to a medical emergency. My daughter got accepted to XXXX XXXX University but I did not have any money and was unemployed. Notwithstanding my financial situation, I was told by the finance office that I would be approved for a parent-student loan to cover what shortfall my daughter had for her tuition. Long story short, I am in for over {$130000.00}. I eventually found employment in XXXX and worked for XXXX XXXX for 5 1/2 years. I applied for PSLF but was denied because I was not able to pay the required minimum payments. Because of XXXX XXXX in my job, I decided to retire in XXXX and have not been making payments in part also due to the hold issued by the government during the pandemic. My issue is that why did they approve me for a parent-student loan knowing that I had no money and was unemployed. Had I known that I would rack up this much debt, I would have either sent my daughter back to the XXXX or forced her to look for another school. I have no means to pay and I have already cashed in my 401K just to survive. What can I do about this? Thank you.

Consumer Complaint: I reached out to Fedloan Servicing in early XX/XX/XXXX after I received a letter in the mail dated XX/XX/XXXX stating I was approved for PSLF ( Public Student Loan Forgiveness ) and that my student loans qualified with the XXXX payment requirement. Since then I've tried getting answers about the total student loan payment count as I've been paying on my Student Loans since XXXX. I was inquiring about any student loan refunds that I would be eligible for. Every time I called to speak to someone at Fedloan Servicing, I received different information. Initially I was told that I would be receiving a refund and then more recently I was told I wouldn't be receiving a refund. I was inquiring about the student loan payments I've made over the XXXX payment requirement for the PSLF. I've read I was eligible for all payments made over the XXXX payment requirement. I also read that I would be eligible for a student loan refund for payments I've made during the COVId Relief starting XX/XX/XXXX. I've made payments on my student loans throughout XX/XX/XXXX and made my final student loan payment in XX/XX/XXXX. I've called both Fedloan Servicing ( the student loan servicer who sent me a letter approving my PSLF ) and I've also reached out to American Education Services ( AES ) who serviced my loans since XXXX and have not received any clear answers from either Federal Loan Servicer. I just want to find out if I will be receiving any refunds either from my over XXXX student loan payments or from the student loan payments I've made since XX/XX/XXXX during the COVId Student Loan Relief period.
