Consumer Complaint: XXXX called me in XXXX to collect a debt for the doc that XXXX my son. I set up a payment arrangement and started investigating why my XXXX wasnt paid by my insurance company but the hospital was paid and The XXXX that administered my XXXX was paid everybody except XXXX was paid for the XXXX XXXX and hospital stay. Once I talked to my insurance company and found that they had never received a claim from my XXXX for the XXXX of my son I then contacted my XXXX/XXXX ask them for a copy of the medical claim that was denied and now the debt that I owe for this once I got this paperwork in the mail I found that they had never build my insurance company they actually sent the claim to a wrong or incorrect insurance company. Also When I was looking into this debt I asked XXXX when and who sold my debt to them. XXXX gave me the number for a trucking company. Im called back and told they gave me a trucking companys number and they told me to call back and talk to someone that this was a legit company. So I called back and the lady at the trucking company told me no we do not collect money and we are not a collection company. So I called XXXX back and told them this information and they put me on hold so long over and over so I just kept getting cut off basically. I found out from my insurance company that the claim was never sent to them it was sent to the wrong insurance company so When the claim was denied because I wasnt a policy holder it was because it wasnt my insurance company. I called XXXX at XXXX and cancelled my payment arrangement with XXXX and told them it was because I can pay the doctor directly because they hey mistakenly billed the wrong insurance company the lady yelled at me and told me I still owed this money and that I was a liar. They are now calling me again to try and collect more money. I continue to to contact my XXXX billing department and I leave messages telling them they billed the wrong insurance company and that I will them directly I have already paid {$400.00} on this to XXXX and now I will set up automatic payments with XXXX XXXX XXXX but no one will respond to my messages. Please stop XXXX from collecting on people I have proof that the wrong Insurance company was billed and this is way out of control. XXXX calls me 10 times a day.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2018, my first payment on my Federal Perkin 's Loan was due. I had received no notifications via mail, email, or phone call from the creditor, XXXX University, to alert me that my payment was due. I missed payments for XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX of 2018. I found out through my credit card company my credit score had decreased due to missed payments in XX/XX/2018. Upon further investigation, I found out from XXXX University 's bursar office that notices were being sent to an old address in XXXX, DE instead of my current address. As a student of XXXX University for 7 years, I had to update my address across all my accounts yearly. Therefore, I am certain that my address was up to date and that notices should have been sent to the updated address. If there was a mistake in addresses, other notices should have been sent to me in the forms of emails or phone calls in my opinion. At the time, I was content to pay the late fees and continue with my payment plan. Since then, I have had a spotless record of on-time payments. However, I now wish to refinance a car loan, but can not obtain decent offers due to my credit score. I reached out to XXXX University 's Credit and Collections department to discuss the situation and to have the late payments removed. After accepting financial responsibility for the missed payments and expressing my belief that my current credit score does not represent my creditworthiness and commitment to repaying my debts, I was told there was nothing they could do. Due to the fact that a late payment can affect your credit score for 7 years, I feel this is unfair. With that being said, I also feel the creditor is acting unreasonably as I was not notified about the loan payments being due, even though the creditor had multiple options to reach me. I have attached bank statements for the months of XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX to provide evidence that I was not in a financial hardship and could pay the payment due. Please refer to the beginning and ending monthly balances. There is no other reason I was late on the payment except for not being notified.

When I questioned him as to when and who did I talk to his resonsed ; that we called you but company policy prevents us from leaving a message. If you call a person and do not let them know you are calling that is not a contact. Since that conversation Trans world Sys Inc /XXXX - ( XXXX ) XXXX has once again reported to the credit bureaus numerous in the Month of XXXX ( XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX ). I am not clear as to what this company is doing and hope that consumers can be protected from them. Additionally, I did not receive any correspondence from this alleged debtor. Can anyone just drive your FICO down on a wim? Is there any request through anyone

Consumer Complaint: Post moving out of apartment complex " XXXX XXXX '' on XX/XX/2016 owned by " XXXX XXXX '' i received an invoice due for charges obtained from cleaning or damages to the apartment. The charges where paid in full. XXXX still sent this debt to collections and i have left 5 voicemails and waited 5 times the time they promised i would hear back in. There is no way to get a hold of the company. i have also emailed them through there website as well as the manager and regional manager and still no response. This has now made it ( so far ) impossible to rent another place even with perfect rental history and verification. I would like this to be removed from my credit. It should have never even made it to collections.

Does the original lender not to have an allotted time to try to collect what they believe to be owned to them before turning an account over to collections? Also please notice the differences in the amounts on the original move out cleaning letter and the one created after I continue to ask for the details of my deposits since it clearly was not use to cover the cost of it

The collection is for a cemetery in XXXX XXXX that I have never spoken to that only speaks XXXX. This is not my debt and is therefore harassment as I have told them that I am not associated with the debt. The person with the debt is deceased and no longer lives at the property as I am the second owner of the house. Consumer Complaint: Some time on or around XX/XX/XXXX-XX/XX/XXXX ( I don't know the exact date ) I attempted to call Transworld Systems who was put in charge of collecting a credit card debt for a XXXX XXXX XXXX that I had obtained back in XXXX. The card was originally under a chapter XXXX bankruptcy which had gotten dismissed. So this reopened the debt I owed along with almost {$5000.00} world of intrested to the card limit which was only about $ XXXX {$3400.00}. When I originally called, I'd call to settle the debt for the amount of the card that was used which was around the amount of {$3400.00}. With the job that I have, this amount was manageable for me to get paid in a considerable time. Transworld came back with counter offer with almost {$5500.00} in which they told me I'd have to pay in a month. I agreed to this because they would not offer me any else and made me feel like I had no other choice but to pay this amount. I was able to make a payment of {$500.00} on XXXX XX/XX/XXXX, but was told that I only had a few days to come up with the rest. I told them that this would be impossible for me to do, but they insisted that I figure it out. I'd call and ask for an extension, they would not extend this un reasonable amount for more that 65 days. I don't even get paid {$5500.00} in a month and I have a household to maintain. The last representative who I spoke with whose name was not willing to work with me or come down on the settlement even as I left messages and pleaded with her to work with my situation. I also explained that I was trying to buy a home for my family, but she did not seem to care about anything regarding my goals She also exclaimed that I would not be eligible for another settlement offer for another 6 months if I didn't pay the remaining balance of the settlement and they I was not allowed to put in for a settlement around tax season so that I would not have an opportunity to pay the account of using any tax refunds which is terrible. I would like to negotiate a better settlement that would allow me to pay the amount that I used on the card which was around {$3400.00}. I had already paid {$500.00} into the settlement amount and would like that amount added. Their practices are unfair and deceptive does not benefit me and put me in more of a financial bind.
