Issue: Problem with a company's investigation into an existing problem
Subissue: Investigation took more than 30 days
Consumer Complaint: I have already sent a letter addressing the inaccuracies and unknown items on my credit report, but unfortunately, I have not received any response even after 30 days. It feels like I'm being taken advantage of and my disputes are being ignored. According to Section 611 ( a ), if these items are not investigated within 30 days, they should be promptly removed from my credit report. Since it has been over 30 days, I expect these accounts to be updated immediately. If not, I will have no choice but to pursue legal action due to the stress this situation has caused me. Additionally, my information was also affected by the XXXX, XXXX, and Transunion data breach, which raises concerns about the security of my personal data.

Consumer Complaint: I opened a complaint through cfpb against Transition because they were violating me by furnishing incorrect information on my credit report. I asked called in numerous of times asking them to delete the incorrect names, and account they are reporting and they refused I got a letter in the mail from them stating the accounts were verified. I called in to ask for revalidation and was denied. I then asked Transition representative how was the debt validated? what steps were taken and can proof be mailed to me of validation on the their part or the companies part who's giving this wrong information and I got no answer. I need to see the validation documents in which Transunion allege deems to be correct as they are still reporting these active accounts onto my credit. I am being physically drained, mentally stressed and financially impacted by these negative items on my report. I am asking that transunion mail me copies of the validation they got from the company XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. If proof can not be furnished these accounts need to be deleted from my report. I am also asking for info on arbitration with transunion.

Consumer Complaint: Your credit reporting agency has been consistently providing inaccurate and incomplete account details to my credit file. I am deeply concerned about the presence of these inaccuracies within my credit profile. It appears that your reporting agency has not implemented effective procedures to ensure the highest level of accuracy in the credit information it reports. This lack of diligence may expose your agency to potential liability under 15 U.S.C. 1692g, specifically concerning the validation of debt. Additionally, referencing the legal precedent set in Fisher v. Equifax Information Services LLC ( D. Ariz. 2018 ), your reporting agency could be held accountable for engaging in false reporting. It is imperative to adhere to credit reporting laws, which mandate that bureaus only report credit information that is entirely accurate. 1. 15 USC 1681B. Permissible purposes of consumer reports XXXX Account XXXX : XXXX This account is closed with a paid balance. This is falsely reporting. Please delete as i have taken steps to seek litigation. 2. 1681n. Consumer Complaint: I have reported identity fraud to all 3 credit reporting services. Transunion : 6 hard inquires *XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX I am making a complaint for a few reasons. The first is that Transunion is reporting things that are not mine. I have reported to them numerous times that someone has gotten ahold of my information and they are reporting inaccurately. I have also called in multiple times to all three bureaus to let them know that they are all reporting different information. Section 623 ( a ) ( 6 ). If a furnisher learns that it has furnished inaccurate information due to identity theft, it must notify each consumer reporting agency of the correct information and must thereafter report only complete and accurate information. It is my understanding per 15 usc 1681 it is the purpose of this subchapter to require that consumer reporting agencies adopt reasonable procedures for meeting the needs of commerce for consumer credit, personnel, insurance, and other information in a manner which is fair and equitable to the consumer, with regard to the confidentiality, accuracy, relevancy, and proper utilization of such information in accordance with the requirements of this subchapter.
