Consumer Complaint: On or about XX/XX/2020, I authorized Paypal to use my credit card ending in XXXX to process automatic transactions from XXXX. I did not authorize Paypal to use any other forms of payment for these transactions. However, Paypal disregarded my authorizations and used my XXXX checking account to settle a XX/XX/XXXX transaction in the amount of {$34.00}. Paypal did not notify or ask my permission in any form to use my XXXX checking account to complete this transaction. As a result of this unauthorized transaction, my XXXX account got overdrawn and I was charged fees that exceeded the amount of this transaction. My checking account history got damaged as well because of this unauthorized transaction. Paypal fraudulently charged my bank instead of my credit card because bank transactions cost them less than credit card transactions, even though I explicitly instructed them to use my credit card.

Consumer Complaint: PayPAL paid out a transaction that I disputed. I asked for proof and why they are not honoring my dispute. In which case, I got the run-around. It says on their website that I have the right to ask for my correspondence and how they came to their conclusion of not honoring my dispute and they have not provided me with any paperwork but generic copy-paste answers. I even have a contract and emails going back and forth with the business that did not provide me with the service but PAYPAL decided they were going to take my money and pay this business. Since when is paypal the judge of my money? Even when it's written in black and white with a contract. I paid for a service that was not provided to me. The contract date did not even start when I asked for my money back and cancelled and " fired '' the business. Yet, PAY PAL thinks they are the decider of my money without giving me any proof or explanation. PAYPAL needs to be held accountable. They are not doing what their website promises which is provide transcripts and communication on how they even came to their conclusion.

For six months, I have went back and forth with this business, attempting to reset my two factor authentication after I broke my phone. They have been impossible to reach, stating that I need to log in, to be able to contact them. Of course, this is impossible because my two factor authentication is not available. When they reset my two factor authentication, they failed to reset BOTH numbers on the account, proceeding to LOCK my account, failing to allow me access to both my money, and my account. They now will not allow me to contact them at all, removing the access from their website entirely. I have repetetively attempted to contact this business, from twitter, to phone, to email, to direct messaging. All attempts have failed.

I contacted them by phone more than once and they refused to explain their decision. Both times I tried to discuss the matter with them on the phone, they said that they would review the case and get back to me within 72 hours, but they have never gotten back to me. I would like to receive an explanation as to why our PayPal account was permanently closed/frozen/deactivated. Below is a copy of the text from the email which I received : You can no longer use PayPal After a review, we decided to permanently limit your account as we found potential risk associated with it. Youll not be able to use PayPal to send and receive money or shop online. If you have money in your PayPal balance, well hold the money for up to 180 days. Consumer Complaint: Today on XX/XX/XXXX, I sent money to a random person who bought shoes from me and so he gave me a check a few days ago for a large amount of money ( More than what I expected or asked for ) He said to deposit the check, keep the amount I asked for and then give him the rest of the money that was included in the check. I found out that he did that so that he could take money from me ( XXXX ). This is 100 % a scam. I talked to my bank and they said it is the oldest scams in the book, where scammers target mostly younger children because they dont know more than adults. XXXX was taken away from me, and I dont want another XX/XX/XXXXto be taken away as well. I filed a dispute in pay pal about this scam and they arent giving me my money back. Im very upset because I did not know I was being scammed. The recipient also put in tracking info for the shoes that is not even real. I never shipped or even created a label.

Consumer Complaint: I had an available balance of {$2000.00}. They offered instant transfer. As soon as I did that, it was delayed by 72 hrs. Paypal falsely advertises the instant transfer but does not actually provide it. They always seem to have an excuse to inhibit access to your money. No inhibitions exist on money going into PayPal but always, Always exist on any attempt to take it out.
