Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2020, I authorized PayPal to pay for a service. I have paid via PayPal many times in the past. The service is XXXX lessons for my son. This business has been running for years, and the owner requests his students pay him to his own PayPal business account. On this date, PayPal withdrew funds from my credit card, but flagged the authorization as suspicious. Upon calling them, they demand to know my sons birthdate. I said that is an intrusion of my sons privacy, he is not a minor, and his birthdate has nothing to do with the financial transaction. PayPal will not tell why they need his birthdate, refuse to pay the vendor, AND WILL NOT RETURN THE MONEY BACK TO MY CREDIT CARD. I have paid the vendor in person. I want PayPal to release my money, and credit my card.

Consumer Complaint: Hi, a month ago I contacted you all about the company PayPal and I got their response and believe me when I say Im so frustrated at this point I dont know if its worth living. I told them Im in school and Im helping out taking care of my family and they bluntly ignored everything I said. They have wrongfully withheld my money from me and with no proper reasoning. I read their responses and they said I didnt turn in the proper documents when I clearly did and then they lied and said I did it under someone else name names XXXX XXXX. I have no idea who that is or where they got that from and how could I alternate a bank statement that makes no sense. Im beyond frustrated Im to point where Im just really really depressed. I cant stop crying right now because I have done nothing wrong but open an account with the trust that PayPal will be a good fit for me and that I can trust them with my money. I wasnt offered no appeal, no real explanation till their response, and even then Im not offered no real solution. I cant wait till the end of XXXX to receive my money why dont they understand that theres people like me who need that money. Its not fair for them to keep it away from us. As I just learned Im not the only person going through this it just makes me more depressed. I dont think I can deal with this anymore Im having XXXX XXXX left and right just thinking about what am I going to do next, how am I going to help my family, where is my next funding coming from, and how am I going to get through school. This is just a lot for me to handle. I seriously need your help because at this point they dont care about me or my family. They are being completely bullies and acting like this okay. Its NOT OKAY! YOU ARE MAKING PEOPLES LIVES HARDER AND DIFFICULT!!!! Isnt it already bad enough the corona virus is here and no one can really work no one can really support their family.

I have no source of income. I was sent this money to purchase medicine, do laundry, purchase cleaning supplies, put gas in the car and pay some bills. Pay pal immediately released {$50.00}. I called XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX XX/XX/XXXX and asked why my funds are pending. The representative said it's normal when paypal see 's unexpected activity. The representative said the funds should be released by XXXX. At XXXX XX/XX/XXXX Pay pal released another {$50.00}. There is still {$100.00} pending. It is not XXXX and the {$100.00} is still pending. The representative had no resources to offer to verify my identity to help release the pending transfer. I have tried contacting PayPal by phone but they have me blocked me from contacting them in their system. I have also reached out to them on XXXX and sent them documents but they ignore me. In my eyes they have no desire in resolving the issue. I'm enclosing documents seeking a professional reply from PayPal to why they can not address this problem or are they just that lazy? My documents are as followed : 1. PayPal 's reply ignoring the fact that payment was reapplied in XX/XX/XXXX document which came from XXXX XXXX. 2. A screenshot of the re-applied payment and it's transaction number " XXXX XXXX XXXX '' for the amount of {$5000.00}. 3. Consumer Complaint: My complaint is simple. PayPal has no customer service support. The support phone number automatically hangs up on you. There is no way to directly contact a representative of Paypal. I have an issue with a money transfer and for 3 days I have been unable to contact any support people. I feel like a service that handles money should have a representative to handle problems with their service and my money. Paypal does not have this option. So they have my money and i have no way of talking to anyone, their online chat people cut and paste the same thing repeatedly even though I keep telling them it isn't helping they refuse to provide any contact information to directly contact Paypal.
