Consumer Complaint: A company named XXXX has a mission to boost credit. However, they began reporting negatively on my credit reports after canceling my membership with them. After weeks, XXXX finally emailed me and declared that my account had been closed with no late or balance. However, it continued to report late payments into XXXX. Consumer Complaint: The credit bureaus keep disrespecting the laws. I showed them multiple times of how they are violating the Fair Credit Reporting Act. According to 15 use 1681 ( 5 ) The credit bureaus said everything was complete and accurate and I asked them how if the open date is wrong. Then I ask them to provide me description of the investigation according to 15 USC 1681 ( 7 ) and they never did. I have proof of my letter for that. Also according to 15 USC 1681 s-2 A person shall not furnish any information relating to a consumer to any consumer reporting agency if the person knows or has reasonable cause to believe that the information is inaccurate. This is violation after violation after violation. This is causing me stress because I have no hope with this system

Consumer Complaint: According to the law in 15 U.S.C 1681, consumer reporting agencies must adopt fair procedures for credit and info accuracy. But XXXX, you're not meeting my needs or being fair by reporting errors. Under 15 U.S.C 1681a ( d ), a consumer report covers any info from a reporting agency about a person 's credit worthiness. You can't claim to verify accounts unless you can prove it, as per 15 U.S.C 1681a ( e ), which defines an " investigative consumer report. '' There shouldn't be specific factual info about my credit record directly from a creditor, as the term " creditor '' means someone who regularly gives credit. This is a violation of 15 U.S.C 1692b ( 2 ) and 15 U.S.C 1692a ( 2 ). As per 15 U.S.C 1692c ( b ), communication shouldn't happen unless it involves the consumer, attorney, or a CRA if permitted by law. Only specific actions are allowed for refusal to pay a debt. Debt collectors aren't allowed to use any conduct that harasses, oppresses, or abuses a person in collecting a debt, as stated in 15 U.S.C 1692d. Threats or harming someone's reputation or property are also not allowed, as per 15 U.S.C 1692d ( 1 ). False representation about the debt or communicating false credit info is against the law, according to 15 U.S.C 1692e ( 2 ). Also, foreclosures, repossessions, wage garnishments, or arrests for debts are illegal under 15 U.S.C 1692e ( 4 ). If a dispute is made in writing, debt reporting must stop until the dispute is resolved, per 15 U.S.C 1692g ( b ).
