Consumer Complaint: I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the results of my second attempt to correct the late open accounts and remove charge off accounts from my credit report. Despite my previous efforts, I have observed that the inaccuracies persist, negatively impacting my creditworthiness. I initially brought these issues to your attention and I have since submitted the required documentation and evidence to support my dispute. I understand that the credit reporting process can be complex, but I am disappointed to find that the inaccuracies on my credit report have not been rectified in a timely manner. The late open accounts and charge off accounts on my credit report are inaccuracies that are affecting my ability to secure favorable financing terms and interest rates. I have attached copies of the previous correspondence, dispute letters, and the supporting documentation submitted during my initial and subsequent disputes for your reference. I kindly request that you conduct a thorough investigation into the matters raised in my previous disputes and take the necessary steps to rectify the inaccuracies promptly. It is my understanding, based on the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), that accurate and up-to-date information is crucial for the fair evaluation of consumers ' creditworthiness. I would appreciate your prompt attention to this matter, as I believe in the importance of maintaining accurate credit reports. Please notify me of the results of your investigation and any actions taken to correct the inaccuracies on my credit report. You had optimal time to review this matter and make the appropriate corrections, you elected not to. Please remove this item immediately. 4. XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX Balance : {$16000.00} - The limit to this account was a fraction of the amount due it as stated. That is utterly unfathomable! Had a proper investigation been conducted you would have seen the error and corrected it immediately. You failed to do your job ; you must now REMOVE THIS ITEM ALTOGETHER. 5. XXXX XXXX Balance : {$7900.00} - I believe this account is reporting inaccurately. I do not recall ever having a legal obligation with this company nor do I believe one exists. Consumer Complaint: This letter shall serve as formal notice of my intent to file a complaint with the FTC, due to your blatant and objectionable disregard of the law. As indicated by the attached copies of letters and mailing receipts, you have received and accepted through registered mail my dispute letter dated, as well as my follow-up letter dated. To date you have not done your duty as mandated by law. Your non-compliance with federal law is unacceptable, your disregard for it contemptible. Rest assured I shall hold you accountable. Federal law requires you to respond within 30 days, yet you have failed to respond. Failure to comply with these federal regulations by credit reporting agencies are investigated by the Federal Trade Commission ( see 15 USC 41, et seq. ). I am maintaining a careful record of my communications with you on this matter ; for the purpose of filing a complaint with the FTC should you continue in your non-compliance. I further remind you that, as in Wenger v. Trans Union Corp., No. 95-6445 ( C.D.CaI. Nov. 14, 1995 ), you may be liable for your willful noncompliance.
