Consumer Complaint: I found a Charge offs on my Credit report form DISCOVER. I disputed it with the CRA it came back verified. I than sent a letter to DISCOVER about this heard nothing back and called them I spoke to a Customer Service Representative who informed me that your DISCOVER does not have any information on this account that it was all sent to a collection agency. How did they investigate this account with out any documentation? I contacted the collection agency their rep told me about and they could not validate the debt. This is a violation of the FCRA and the trade line needs to be removed ASAP.

Issue: Problem with a purchase shown on your statement
Subissue: Credit card company isn't resolving a dispute about a purchase on your statement
Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2019, I purchased what I believed to be a brand new XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX for {$49.00} from what appeared to be a legitimate ecommerce website that I found via XXXX Shopping. I checked out using XXXX. It turns out that this website is no longer live. In fact, the XXXX payment account was tied to a XXXX name/email. According to the USPS, the scammer created a shipping label using an address in my zip code ( a tire store ) to make it appear as if the package were delivered to me. If you trace the tracking code, it appears that the package was delivered, but it doesn't show WHERE the package was delivered. This is a known scam that was just exposed by the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX I am saddened that both Discover and XXXX have refused to address this scam. Their negligence allowed this scam to occur. Why should I pay for a product that was never received? I have excellent credit and make over {$150000.00}. Why on earth would I lie about a package that I did not receive? Shame on XXXX and Discover for being foolish enough to allow consumers to be defrauded by a XXXX scammer.

Consumer Complaint: I purchased a camera bundle from XXXX XXXX and decided to return the bundle because it was defective. As a result, I purchased the item elsewhere. I sent the bundle back to XXXX XXXX based on the prepaid return label that was provided to me by their customer service. The day the bundle was registered as delivered to their return facility, I received a call claiming that the camera was not inside when the other products were despite sending back the entire bundle, camera included for a full refund. The representative on the phone asked me what happened and seemed intent on the get-go on accusing me of fraud and the like. XXXX XXXX refused to ever update me on the case as they were claiming that a XXXX investigation was opened and closed concluding the weight of the package did not change. Yet at the same time, I still do not have my money back with XXXX XXXX repeatedly attempting to pin the blame on me despite sending back what I received from them originally and fulfilling my obligation as a customer to obtain a full refund. I escalated the case with Discover and despite sending back the item with XXXX XXXX 's prepaid return label with full confirmation, they refused to side with me on the dispute. There was further documentation provided by XXXX XXXX where they claimed the " fragility '' of my tone of voice as notation aimed to firmly place the blame on my myself. I can not handle that I deal with XXXX from XXXX due to being robbed on the phone once before.

Consumer Complaint: 3 months in a row, I mail payment 1st week of month, 3 day postal trip to XXXX XXXX payment center, them my payment just sits there for weeks before being applied to account. Company consistently blames USPS for poor service. Co. says that they would NEVER delay payment just so that they can charge fees and deny credit availability at Christmas. But that is EXACTLY what they are doing.

Issue: Fees or interest
Subissue: Charged too much interest
Consumer Complaint: If a person pays intrest on the credit card balance one month, then pays off the balnace IN FULL the following month according to the listed debt, the company says if you don't stop using the card by the 'close of billing date ', they are going to charge you interest again. I feel this is discrimintory or discrimination. I was able to pay off my debt IN FULL, by the close date on my account, yet I was charged addition interest because i used the card in the next billing cycle - even though that balance had not been on the card for more than 30 days. A person that borrows money pays it off in full even though they are not paying until the end of the grace period time & have continued to use the card are not charged interest. This is discrimination against the person who must borrow from time to time, yet does not keep a balance on the card. According to the terms & conditions they can charge me, but they can't charge the person who dose n't pay off the bill entirely.

Consumer Complaint: I am writting to report multiple violations to my rights as a consumer. I tried to solve this matter with Discover Financial Services in the past, but they have failed to give me a fair solution to my issue. I have a Discover account XXXX, Opened Date XX/XX/2013, Credit Limit {$1000.00}, Balance : {$0.00}, status : closed. Discover Financial Services has been reporting incorrect information to the credit bureaus. I paid this accunt several years ago and they are reporting a recent last payment date. Also, they have failed to provide me with an answer to my letter sent back on XX/XX/XXXX. They did not listen to my demand and the did not even acknowledge my time spent in sending this correspondance to them. They are being Unfair and Negligent. They are also committing violations to the section ( 609 ) of the Fair Credit Reporting Act by reporting false and erroneous information. This is affecting me physically and mentally and I want a fair solution to this issue. I am demanding a deletion letter from Discover Financial Services and I want them to stop collection activity on this account that is already closed and paid. If they dont provide me with the deletion letter that I an demanding, I will not hessitate taking this to a court so a judge decides. I am sure that when I sat down with my attorneys the list of violations will go up. Thanks to whomever reads my complaint. See attached documents sent to Discover Financial Services, which they ignored.

Consumer Complaint: I have been getting 10 to over 20 phone calls a day to two of my phones. Many are from the Discover 800 number, but several come from another number not listed as Discover. I can almost set my watch to the times this company calls me. I have tried to inform them that this was illegal, but they said that they have every right to do this until my debt is paid or a settlement is reached.
