Consumer Complaint: I have a credit card with Capital One bank. I received a promotional offer XX/XX/2022 for a 0 % rate for 12 months. I agreed to these terms via capital one 's mobile app. When i made a large purchase XX/XX/2022 I knew i had 12 months to pay back the purchase. Capital one recently charged me two months of interest for XXXX and XXXX statements. When i questioned them they noted to me the promotional terms ended in 9 months. I advised that was incorrect, they asked me if i had proof of my promotion. I said " No '' but i would like a copy of my promotional terms from XXXX emailed to me, in which the customer service agent said they cant provide that. I would like my 2 months of interest returned or at minimum a copy of the promotional terms i agreed to. Thank you.

Consumer Complaint: I have companies that sold my original account to different companies that I have no recollection of and they have not reach out to me about any of changes these accounts are old accounts that the original creditors collect money off of and then sold the account without my consent I havent got letter or call I tried disputing the account several times still showing on my credit tried reaching out to companies they sold the account to and they cant give me any information about these fraudulent accounts on my credit thats in the original companies got paid for and sold the account trying get paid again when I have know acknowledgement of these accounts

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023, I received a notice from XXXX of a hard inquiry from Capital One Bank which I did not authorize. This notification came as a surprise to me since I have not requested any financial products from Capital One Bank or any other bank on those dates nor have not been on the market requesting any other financial products from other institutions. I contacted Capital One Bank and did nothing to assist stating that the issue must be addressed and resolved by XXXX. I then communicated with XXXX and said they were going to address this situation and send the bank a notice to correct and remove the inquiry. Days later I then follow up with both XXXX and Capital One Bank because the inquiry was till showing up and nothing was done to assist me. Again I communicated with XXXX and they stated that they were going to take action but I had to wait 30 days from the date of the inquiry was made for the information to be corrected when my monthly credit report refreshed. After 30 days I call again XXXX and a person from XXXX 'assisted ' me and said that no action had been taken and that I needed to go to the local police to make a complaint. I need my credit report to be corrected because Capital One Bank has not done nothing to correct this inquiry and XXXX has not been proactive in resolving my issue either, giving me three ( 3 ) different versions of steps to be taken to correct my information however, nothing has been done. I do not have any relationship with Capital One Bank and have not submitted requests to be considered for their products.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Capital One : XX/XX/XXXX According to my credit report, these creditors have been reporting since XXXX, and XXXX. My reports should be clear, and accurate according to the fair credit act 15 U.S. Code 1681a, the report is only good for 7 years after the first delinquent payment is reported. The creditor does not have the right to report a transaction without the permission of the consumer, and the consumer should not be subject to their reputation harmed by incorrect credit reporting practices, I request that these companies remove their negative reporting from my credit report.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/, I used my Capital One credit card to purchase flights from the XXXX website. Later that same day, I called XXXX to modify my reservations and was advised that this would cause additional fees. I told the agent to cancel my reservations and was place on hold. Capital One apparently suspected fraud and utilized its Account Validation system to prevent XXXX from proceeding to charge without my permission. It worked. I hung up from holding with XXXX and called Capital One. The Capital One agent advised that the charges could not yet be disputed as they were still pending but unfroze my card and said these charges would all be considered disputed once processed. Subsequently, both XXXX and I submitted documentation to Capital One. Although initially agreeing with me that these charges were unauthorized, Capital One has now reinstated all disputed charges. XXXX has now falsely claimed that I agreed to settle this dispute. Despite my demand, Capital One has not provided any evidence ( since there can not be any ). Capital One has not formally acknowledged any of my responses disputing these charges. Its messaging web page is used only to memorialize communications favorable to the Bank.

Consumer Complaint: I opened a business credit spark credit card. I went through the fraud verification and the card was opened. Subsequently, I was contacted again, but missed the phone call. I called in to capital one, thinking it was regarding another credit I'd just made a purchase with. I was informed it was about my spark card, which I hadn't received neither did I have the last 4 digits of the card at the time. I spoke with representatives who couldn't communicate clearly about my account to the last representative who was extremely rude and did not work to resolve my issue. She said the the letter would explain everything she said. I received the letter today in the mail and it was vague and didn't request any of the information this department requested. I do not like the way this case is being handled. No one can account for the many times we've spoken and I was just given a secure link to upload the requested documents.
