Consumer Complaint: I have a QuickSilver Capital One Credit Card Account and a Spark Business Capital One account. On XX/XX/23, I attempted to pay the full balance of these two credit cards from my Capital One Checking account. However, both payments were rejected by Capital One and sent back to my checking account. I called Capital One and they were not able to provide me with an answer as to why these payments kept getting sent back to my Checking account. Capital One is still charging me 31 % interest on two credit cards that they are refusing to let me pay off. This feels illegal and unfair. I would like to be able to pay off these credit cards and close these Credit card accounts.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX selected Capital One to be their new affiliated credit card. The old master card was shut off the end of XXXX and the new Capital one card was to be used. I called Capital One because I could not log in to pay my bill as I never received the new credit card. I was told my balance was XXXX which I paid. I requested another card as I had never received the first one. I received the second card on XX/XX/XXXX and logged into my account, it showed transactions against a card ending in XXXX which was the card I never received. It also showed my previous statement balance was XXXX and I had previously paid XXXX a difference of XXXX owed back to me. It also showed a charge of {$480.00} as a XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. I called to find out what this charge was and was given the run around, after talking to a representative, her supervisor and someone in the fraud department, I was able to get them to place the charge in dispute. All other charges listed the actual vendor which I was able to recognize, but this purchase of {$480.00} they could not tell me who the vendor was. My concern is how do they arbitrarily place a significant charge on my card without knowing what that charge is for. Also overcharging me on the payoff of the previous months billing.

This account is reporting wrong balance which makes this inaccurate and incomplete It has been over 40 days since they received my dispute letter and have not heard back from them

Consumer Complaint: Capital One has fraud restricted my account. I had a large refund hit my card due to a return, and Capital will not give me back the negative balance now on the credit card. An amount of {$2800.00} Details : Late 2022 I tried to purchase an XXXX at my local XXXX XXXX in XXXX NY using my Capital One Quicksilver card. I was flagged for fraud and the transaction was blocked. I called up Capital One immediately in the XXXX store. I was asked to upload a picture of my license. I did that, however the lighting conditions in the XXXX store are sub-optimal. Many overhead lights causing reflections. The id was not verified by Capital One 's systems and i was not allowed to proceed with the purchase The next day I called up again, I was asked to go through verification and upload my license pictures. I followed instructions and uploaded clear images. Once again Capital One 's system did not verify my identity. I was then permanently blocked from using the account with no option for a resolution. I offered to go in person to a branch with my license and passport for verification. I was told that Capital One 's systems/processes don't allow this. As the account was in-operable. I told them to close it. Following these events I received a large refund onto the card from a purchase I had made and then returned. After calling Capital One many times, they have not sent me a check for the amount they owe to me of {$2800.00}. They have offered no way to provide me with the money even though they repeatedly stated that they can not hold onto those funds.

Consumer Complaint: I opened an account, deposited a check and then was notified they were closing my account. The check cleared and now has been sitting in the account for over 3 months with no movement. I submitted a claim over this previously at the end of XXXX and they still have my funds hostage. They claimed they would return the funds but the funds are from a check from the state of oregons revenue for a tax return so there is no returning it.
