Consumer Complaint: Camino Financial is supposed to be business lending ; however, they are reporting to my personal credit, making this a consumer matter. On XX/XX/XXXX, I requested a billing error investigation along with a cease & desist on all communication until the results were produced. The letter was sent by certified mail and was signed for by a Camino Financial representative on XX/XX/XXXX. According to the Privacy Act of 1974, no transaction history can be reported to credit reporting agencies. Camino Financial is, in fact, reporting monthly payment history, which is defined as transaction history. On top of that, once a billing error investigation has been requested, the company must stop all reporting, collections, and payments until rectified. Due to Camino Financial 's negligence in illegal reporting, I had XXXX credit cards cut their limits by over XXXX XXXX dollars. U.S Code 1666 states that all communication outside of billing error information must cease until the investigation has been completed. It is XX/XX/XXXX, and I have not received an email stating an investigation has been started. I have- however, received nine phone calls, seven text messages to my personal cell, and seven emails trying to collect a payment on this account where payments should be halted. This is wanton disregard for the cease and desist letter as well as the USC 1666 requirements.

Consumer Complaint: I am not even 30 days past due and have receive over 25 calls in the past week of XXXX. This is not including multiple voice messages, texts, and emails. Ive received XXXX calls in the past XXXX hours alone. I advised I would update my card the upcoming week and to please cease all harassing communication. They kept contacting me at first saying that I gave them permission to contact me I advised that I did not give them permission to harass me. There is a difference. After multiple texts back-and-forth, they finally agreed to cease and desist. After telling them, I was going to update my card with them. I received this response Ok, so you dont want to take responsability of this? I am going to take your answer as a negative of payment That was not what I said at all. But I advise them that no further responses for me would be made as I am reporting it to the CFPB. I am also getting emails saying that my account is one month past due when its not I am documenting these practices, in case they inaccurately report late payments to the credit bureau I have attached photos of all the missed calls from their company in the past week

They adjusted the payment schedule, but also with Drew funds for the previous agreement, which I turn would overdraft my account on a number of occasions. And now they call4 or five time in a row and call my family after I've spoken with them about arranging other options. They continue to call evnery day constantly.

Its been XXXX XXXX and they havent reported anything. I tried contacting them through phone and was hung up on. I also emailed and no response and also was blocked from the complaint email. I think it unfair to advertise services and dont offer the service just to hold businesses back. Thanks
