Consumer Complaint: Hello on several occasions I reached out to comenity bank in reference to the account that they were reporting on my credit file in reference to XXXX XXXX. On Several Occasions I asked them to Validate that the debt was mine and that I was in fact the person that they were looking for the only response that I received from Comenity Bank was that the account had been sold to XXXX XXXX XXXX when I contacted them they say that they have no account listed for me with thier company so why can't comenity bank Validate the account if they are the data furnisher.

Consumer Complaint: I had opened BJ 's credit card on XX/XX/2021 with Comenity Capital Bank. The Bank approved the card, however, they reported XXXX credit score from XXXX to determine the interest rate. My credit score has never been below XXXX in the last 5 years, so it was a surprise. I subsequently checked with XXXX, and they reported a credit score of XXXX. I provided the credit score report from XXXX to Comenity Bank to check if they made an error. Per law, Comenity Capital Bank can only use the credit score reported by the approved agency. On XX/XX/2021, Comenity Bank reported that the credit score they used, XXXX, is accurate. I am unable to reconcile why XXXX will provide one score to me and another to Comenity Bank. It seems Comenity Bank manipulated my credit score to charge a higher interest rate.

Consumer Complaint: I opened a card with Victorias Secret for a {$7.00} purchase, they explained that I would receive the credit card and could pay the bill with that card number. When the bill arrived, there was no way to pay it without the card number. I checked time and time again for the card so I could pay the bill but I moved for college and stopped receiving the mail. I didnt realize the issue until my credit score tanked, which is when I immediately called and paid my bill. Im 21 and had an excellent credit score until this billing issue. I have never paid my rent late or missed another bill, I am a good bill payer and expect to buy a house in the next 3 years.
