Consumer Complaint: Our credit card was stolen and was promptly reported to the credit card company to block the card and avoid future fraudulent charges. Over a few weeks, we still noticed charges coming thru on a blocked card and the bank is unable to explain how a locked card can receive charges. They have since posted these fraudulent charges on the account and expecting us to pay. The bank representative suggested we close the account to avoid further unexpected charges instead of identifying and resolving the issue. The card we are using is BJs credit card. The services are provided commenity bank.

Consumer Complaint: I recently had a late payment reported back in XXXX of XXXX that resulted an A credit limit decrease from my XXXX comenity bank credit card. Im aware that the companies do soft pulls to check the status of a consumers credit report worthiness on a regular basis. However, the late payment that was reported to my credit report earlier this year was a mistake on behalf of the company and has now been removed. I am bringing this issue to the CFPB because comenity bank refuses to restore my credit limit back to where it originally was which was XXXX. I currently have a credit limit of XXXX which has hurt my score dramatically because my utilization went from the 20s to the 90s which is an issue because I am currently in the process of obtaining financing as well as applying for new credit cards and I can not move forward with financing until my credit limit is under 30 percent. Comenity bank has no sympathy for a loyal comenity bank customer who makes their credit card bill payment every month. This issue has had a tremendous affect on me because I am trying to recover from the pandemic by obtaining financing for my business. I sent them a written statement specifying these issues and comenity bank did absolutely nothing to fix the issue.

I lost my wallet with my drivers license and credit and debit cards, I reported an unauthorized charge to comenity and they opened a dispute for the charges on XX/XX/XXXX for XXXX in the amount of {$630.00} and XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX in the amount of {$100.00}. They returned the money back to my card and sent a new card to my address on XX/XX/XXXX they added the charges back to my card saying I was responsible for it because according to them I presented my ID when picking up items at the store. Since I lost my entire wallet obviously the person who charged my card also used my drivers license. I requested the case to be reviewed and at the moment the charges are not back to my card and I refuse to pay something I did not authorize. per card agreement I am not liable for charges I did not make. I also received a letter dated XX/XX/XXXX where states AFTER OUR THOROUGH INVESTIGATION OF THE CLAIM, WE HAVE CONCLUDED THAT YOU ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DISPUTED BALANCE AMOUNT ON THIS MASTERCARD ACCOUNT. Consumer Complaint: I placed an order on XXXX XXXX. I paid {$110.00}. In that order I returned three fleece jackets. I did not receive a credit. I called Romans the credit card company. I spoke to XXXX the supervisor. He did not solve the problem. I called Comenity bank associated with romans credit cards. On XX/XX/XXXX XXXX from comenity transferred me to the credit Dept. I spoke to XXXX and she said they will wait for the return. I spoke to XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. He placed the dispute for the credit owed to me. I have a confirmation no. XXXX. On XXXX XXXX I spoke to XXXX and closed the account. He told me do not pay on card until dispute is settled. As of this date I believe it is not settled. On XX/XX/XXXX I closed the other accounts with Comenity ( womanwithin, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX assisted me in closing the accounts. On XX/XX/XXXX I returned the jackets that were sent after account closed. I have returned five jackets. I have ordered anything since the account is closed. I found out there was an item sent XX/XX/XXXX. I spoke to XXXX ( a lady ) and she said she will take off the charge but can not do anything about late charges and interests. She transferred me to the credit Dept. And the hung up the phone. I owe this company nothing.

They have failed to even investigate or send me correspondence back indicating they did an investigation and what the out come was. I have no knowledge of these accounts XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ... COMENITY BANK/XXXX XXXX ... XXXX XXXXthat listed on my credit report. Further more, this account can not be 100 % accurate as there are open dates they have listed on my credit report varies between the 3 bureaus. How can one account be opened on different days? I want there alleged accounts in question to be removed from my credit report immediately.
